A square Chinese Bowl dating from the 1950's well painted in Famille Rose Enamels with fan shaped reserves of ladies in various pastimes. The background is a light blue colour with butterflies and flowers and with an underlying design of scrolling foliage in scraffiato. The inside is decorated in the centre with an arrangement of fruits. There is a sealmark to the base. It is in perfect condition and is 6 3/4 ins.(17 cms.) square and 3 1/4 ins.(8 1/4 cms.) in height.
