Very Rare French Blue and White Beef Pate Pot and Pot Lid, c. 1840. Flat lid by Creil & Monterrau. Excellent condition. Matching lid and bottom. There is a teeny tiny flea bites on the inside of the flange on the base, the edge of the bottom of the pot, and the bottom of the foot rim. For L.T. Piver, 10 Boulevard, De Strasbourg, Paris and 100 Regent St,. London. 2 3/8 inches x 2 3/4 inches.
