This rare, possibly unique clock is one of the last from my personal collection. Unlike the very common iron bodied clocks of the 1880’s this one is heavily enameled in bright orange and gold. Clearly part of the oriental craze in Victorian times yet very un-Victorian in style. There are as you can see some small chips in the enameled and the wooden back is missing.
