The Savior enthroned with mourning The Virgin and John the Baptist in the center panel, flanked by two icons depicting The Guardian Angel and saints: Zossima and Sabbatius of Solovetskii monastery.

France, 18th to early 19th century. Carved and gesso wooden Madonna figure, shown standing on rounded rock, wearing long flowing robes, hands outstretched, lovely serene look upon her face. 12-3/4"H. Missing one hand and portion of other, minor pigment wear, else excellent.

This is a very early wax baby Jesus, most probably from Germany, circa 1790, abounding in significant detail. He is laying on a lace topped peach cloth and his features are very finely formed. His head seems to be resting on a gold sunburst and his right hand is holding a faux jeweled cross. Above his head is a circular pediment decorated with gold and rose trimmings. There is a small mirror on either side. Very typical of German Christmas scenes, he is raised up on a glittering snowy base...
This Incredible Large carved Polychromed Wood Statue, representing Saint Michael slaying the beast, is in Good Overall Condition for its age,early 18th century. This lovely standing crucifix was for home and also might have been taken with the family while traveling. I love the patina and verdigris! It is heavy cast bronze/brass. The figure of Christ is firmly attached with the 2 little rounds you might see on the back.I found it in Belgium, very dark with age. As I cleaned the back to try to read the impressed markings, the verdigris began blooming, so I continued to clean! I leave it to you, if you want to make it shiny and bright...

Fine Italian hand carved walnut bust of martyred saint. Interestingly, it has a small hole atop head, possibly for metal halo attachment. With warm rich patina and chisel marks evident. 18th century.
Crack along side of face, noticeable in photographs. Small hole in neck.
A sterling silver Kiddush cup, circa 1920. The upper portion of the cup is decorated with classical floral band in relief. Just below it is engraved with an inscription in Hebrew. The base is marked " ESCO Sterling ". Condition is good with wear consistent with its age and use. Dimensions: Height 5 3/4", Width 2 1/2". Weight 2.82 Troy ounces.
