This is an elegant Mexican bracelet made in the style and quality of Margot but by an unidentified maker. The bracelet has the eagle stamp #3. Thus one may assume it was made in Taxco and it is clearly mid Century. This bracelet is a small treasure and it is in excellent condition. No enamel loss and no damage or repairs. Abstract design very attractive and very elegant. 2" wide and 7" wearable with a safety chain and a great working clasp. COLLECTOR QUALITY
Matilde Poulat and Salas Mexican necklaces are getting so very rare and especially the gorgeous pieces like this one. It is hallmarked as shown with Matl Salas MS-12. This hallmark dates this from 1978 and after. I am limited by the system on the dating of this listing. The repousse is masterfully done and the carving has great depth. The chains are really very special to this piece with the outside chain having a bit more slack to hang in such a lovely manner...
