An Iranian fritware saucer dish decorated in underglaze blue and black with a stylised landscape under an irregularly crackled glaze.. Diameter: 22.8 cm. Probably Zand/early Qajar c.1800.

One slight chip at 6.00, otherwise excellent. There is an interesting incised mark to the unglazed area of the base.

Dating from the C19th., it measures 5 1/8inches (13 cm) across and weighs 470 gms.

The lamp should stand on a tall foot, now missing, to which it was at one time soldered. No other damage.

An Islamic white metal rosewater sprinkler engraved “Walid and Soha 2.8.96”. Height: 14 cm. 19/20th cent.

Probably Turkish. The sprinkler is evidently older than the inscription. There is a small ding to the pear shaped body below the inscription. No other faults.

This really beautiful Persian jar dates from around the 12th~13th century AD. A Japanese specialist named Ichikawa Kiyoshi certified it as being from the Rayy (Rey) or Kashan area of Persia (modern Iran); a center for the production of high quality potteries at that time.

The jar comes from a private Japanese collector. It was pieced back together by a professional and shows several hairlines, which have been attenuated on the outside...
