This gorgeous necklace features 13 Madera citrines (birthstone for November; it is said to bring joy and optimism into one’s life) – 3 clusters of 3 each, and 4 set singly. The central cluster has a pearl dangle. The rose gold is marked 9ct on the clasp, but it tests as a weak 10k. No other marks. Wearable length is 18-3/4”. Excellent condition. The clasp is a little fussy, but could easily be replaced. Circa 1910 or earlier...

This pretty ring comes out of the era when Edwardian styles were sliding into Art Deco. It is marked “925” for sterling silver, and set with a pretty ruby, birthstone for July. Rubies have been called “the queen of stones and the stone of kings.” The ring has the mellow patina of age, and is size 6. Please read this description and look at the photos very carefully, as we are not responsible for buyer remorse. Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA included.

Stunning and rare this early sterling silver and Mexican fire opal ring is from the Los Castillo taller of Taxco. Ring size is 7 1/2 but is adjustable. The face of the ring measures 1" top to bottom. Ring likely designed by Antonio Castillo's wife and partner at the time, Margot Van Voorhies. She would later be known as Margot De Taxco after opening her own Taxco design work shop. Fully hallmarked with early linear 980 LOS CASTILLO TAXCO. Beautiful condition with no issues...

Dainty and lovely, this enamel, pearl, and sapphire Art Nouveau stickpin is 14k gold and just plain beautiful. The enamel shades from pink to green, and it is set with seed pearls and a faceted sapphire. The head of the pin is 1/2" and the pin itself 2" in length. Comes with a clutch to protect the end. [No matter how lovely the stickpin, it's bad if you stab yourself!] Circa 1900.

This fantastic locket is a show stopper! The front has a lovely Egyptian lady in profile, wearing a headdress – from which a few locks of hair have escaped – and hoop earrings. She is nestled within a crescent moon (symbolic of the female principal, intuition, and new beginnings). The back has a monogram, and inside it has both photo rings, but no celluloid. That could easily be fixed with plastic. Unusually large, it measures 1-5/8”, and weighs .77 ounce...

Early Taxco modernist silver and moonstones cuff bracelet very reminiscent of Antonio Pineda in both style and materials combination. Minimalist, with stunning presence and the hand-wrought quality that characterizes Mexican jewelry from the '30s and '40s, an unsigned piece to re-affirm the conviction that gorgeous jewelry does not always have to come with a big signature attached to it...

Signed with initials "MM" which are attributed by many in the field of vintage Mexican silver jewelry collecting to Maximiliano Mondragon, this is one of my favorite Taxco motifs. Mondragon worked for Spratling and is considered among the most accomplished maestros of his time, his work always meticulously finished, generous in weight and very often wrought in 980 silver, which is higher in purity than sterling...
