This beautiful sterling silver case was originally meant for cigarettes but could just as easily hold business cards or ???. It is engraved with an all-over swirling pattern and bears the initials FC in script. The case is 3 1/4" x 2 3/4". It is hallmarked for Birmingham, England, sterling silver, and 1927-28. A nice revival piece imitating the late Victorian Scottish agate pins. The agates are securely set in etched sterling silver. The top features a pierced setting mounted with a glass half-bead in the same dark honey color of the original Scottish cairngorms. The pin has a rollover clasp that probably replaced the original C-clasp. The pin stem appears to be original. The pin is unmarked, but tests as sterling silver. It measures a little over 2 ½ inches long.
This squash blossom of mercury silver dimes give this necklace a welcoming smaller presence. The naja is 2.5in. x 2.5in. and the weight is a hefty 205.5 grams. This is an unsigned piece which many older ones are. The beads are bench made and feel silky soft to the hand. You can wear this at the full 29in. or hook it in at 17in. A wonderful colorful sterling silver pin in the form of a peacock. The piece is hinged and thus can be worn at different angles. It is signed Siam Sterling on the back, which is gilt silver. The piece dates pre 1939 and measures 2 5/8": by 1 3/4" and weighs 11.6 grams. Condition is excellent.
These unique vintage earrings have a trompe' l'oeil design resembling stacked dice. Each clip earring is about 1 1/2" long x 1 3/8" square and both are made from sterling silver with marcasite accents. They are marked "925" on the reverse clip and they are in excellent condition.
