Original watercolor by North Carolina poet and artist A.R. Ammons (1926-2001). Very rare piece. Ammons is most famous for his poetry. Not many people know he also did paintings.
This is an original watercolor on paper. The paper is taped to the backer sheet using what looks to be double sided tape. Otherwise in great condition. Signed and dated "79" lower left corner.

Malcolm Greensmith is a renowned military artist, works have been sold throughout the world and his artwork appears on Royal Doulton Chinaware’s and postage stamp designs.
I estimate these were painted around thirty years ago, good strong colours, one is signed lower right.

A most charming scene of a young Boy and Girl dressed in typical everyday clothing of the mid 19th Century. They are in a countryside setting with a church in the distance, Note the Girl has no shoes on which suggests that they were not from a well to do family.

Attributed to Scottish artist James Paterson is this late 19th C sunny watercolor of a villa in Corsica. Paterson studied in Paris under Laurens and painted in Italy, Corsica, and Sicily. Provenance: Jeremy North’s Gallery, #2247. The watercolor measures sight size: 11.5” x 9.5” (frame 17” x 15”)

This is an original hand painted watercolor by famous Victorian painter Sir Ernest George RA 1839 – 1922. He was also member of other English societies ARA, RA, RBA, and RE. It depicts an arched staircase, with woman holding a child, in a street scene from San Remo in Italy. It is signed in the lower right place and name and dated 1886 in the lower left. In good condition it measures not including the frame 6 ½ x 9 ½ inches.
