With a hefty weight of silver and a beautiful rectangular blue-green turquoise stone, this pin was made by a Navajo artist to be worn on a fancy velvet shirt. At some point it went to the trading post to be pawned, and it still bears an old pawn ticket from the Russell Foutz Indian Room in Farmington, New Mexico. The pin is 2-3/4 inches wide and about 1-1/2 inches high. The original pin has been replaced by a sturdy silver wire, and the clasp still works...
The Hopi assign different colors to the points of the compass, and when katsinas (kachinas) arrive from each direction they often appear in the appropriate color. This set of five Cockleburr cradle dolls is by Vincent Seckletstewa, who is known for his bright colors and the variety of figures he carves. The largest of the dolls is about 6-3/4 inches high...

Here is a beautifully made ring with a green turquoise stone with brown matrix, set in a plain bezel and bordered with finely twisted wire. The ring also includes stamped side pieces and deep stamping all the way around. It has the classic look of vintage pieces but is new and unworn. Marked “sterling” and “LM.” This is a size 10-1/2 and makes a substantial statement.
Measuring 7-3/4” long and about ¾” wide, this lightweight stamped bracelet offers traditional Navajo stampwork in a 7-panel link style. Hook-style closure, unmarked.
Possibly part of a ranger set at one time, now just the nice buckle for a 1/2” belt. Decorated with light-catching hand-twisted wire, plain loops, silver drops, and 12 sky-blue turquoise stones, this buckle will make a great highlight to an outfit for men or women. Unmarked.

Drama from the 1960s or earlier, this ring features a comfortable wide band with a raised border, supporting wire borders, leaves, and a floral motif. A natural piece of branch coral and teardrop-shaped green turquoise add unique color. The face of the ring is 2-1/2 inches by ¾ inches, and it is about a size 6-1/2.
Each comb is decorated with a hand-stamped silver strip with three fantastic stones in plain bezels, and a hand-twisted wire spiral. The combs are brown plastic. Unmarked.
This fine old pin is 3-5/8” wide, set with beautiful hand-shaped natural stones and hand-cut bezels, with silver drops, on a silver base. This was someone’s “favorite” as you can see in the patina of the silver and the greening of the stones. The pin has been replaced with a hand-made and functional wire. The back is inscribed with the initials “BLJ” but we are not sure if this is the maker or the owner’s mark.
Measuring 1 inch across the front and tapering to 3/8-inch terminals, this lightweight bracelet has plenty of vintage charm. The stone is ¾-inch high by 7/8-inch wide, with a desirable “landscape” in grey, red, and black. The stone is bordered by a plain bezel, twisted wire, and scalloped flat wire decoration. Two repousse silver lozenges are on each side, all mounted on three beveled silver bands. The bracelet has an internal measurement of 5-3/8 inches, with a 1-3/8-inch gap. Unmarked.
Complete with its original hand-tooled belt, this very old ranger set includes the buckle, two keepers, and an end-tip, all in silver and set with beautifully matching turquoise. The belt is dry and broken, so would need lining and repair to be wearable—but the set would look fine on any new belt of your choosing. The keepers and tip are 5/8” wide, and the leather has been stitched onto a 1-1/8” wide belt. Unmarked. Please see all photos.
