A rarely encountered, stahlblech (steel) pattern, Prussian EM Artillery Helmet. Pressed from one piece sheet of steel and finished with a rolled rim. The body with faint circular tool marks beneath the olive green paint. Original grey fittings, kokards and chin strap. The liner has minor losses, as shown. This is late production, after 1915 and the liner does not have a felt band...

Nice set of WWI tent stakes and pegs. Excellent condition for their age as per photos. The only real damage I find is a small hole in the bag at the side of one of the buckles (Image 7). The bag has some marking on the inside of the flap but very faded (Image 2). Looks like the original rope. I haven't pitched a tent since Boy Scouts so I have no idea what the difference between a peg and a stake is but there are three of one and two of the other. Nice original set of equipment.

Lovely brass bugle with embossed Prussian eagle. Below this eagle is maker name and date: C.W. MORITZ BERLIN 1914, making this now 100 years old. Bell is reinforced with a band of German silver trim with a decorative double groove on the upper piece. A brass ring is affixed to this silver band. Mouthpiece looks to be original to the bugle with a short chain that looks like it fixed to a ring near the stem that is now gone...

Gorgeous true ivory grips for Colt Official Police. Nice ivory grain throughout. The sticker shown was there from the estate it was brought from so I decided just to leave it. Screw grips nicely. Why not make your gun look really, really cool?

Great example of a walnut based P08 Luger magazine. Has the Erfurt Arsenal stamp but it a rare example of an unnumbered magazine. These are very desirable as they are sort of the O-type universal donor of Luger magazines. When one is missing a magazine for a numbered Luger this is the easy answer.

Nice pair of black widow Luger grips. Unfortunately someone along the way found the need to carve a "W" on one side. The other side has one small hit (See next to last photo). This is a shame because otherwise these grips are in great shape with no cracking or warping and nice, unworn checking. I hope "W" feels bad for what he did.

Absolutely cool, absolutely real silver panzer skull ring. Recently came out of a veteran's estate. Smallish size would fit well with a panzerman as they sought smaller guys for that job. The band is cut at the bottom which is typical of GI souvenir hunters in a hurry. The skull reference goes back to the Napoleonic era Hussars and was adopted by the tank arm as a continued tradition of elite mobile warfare units. This is a different animal to the SS skull so no unpleasant connections...

Terrific set of sand yellow DAK binoculars. Dialyt 10x50 Hensoldt Wetzlar are generally thought to be popular with tank commanders. The early serial number 21933 would put this set early in the war and very likely in the thick of the North Africa fighting with the Afrika Korps. Binoculars themselves are in great shape with near perfect paint. The leather strap is still there and actually quite strong but is significantly weathered to a solid state of "Ugly"...

Here is a truly fascinating piece with a great look to it. Four place round ball bullet mold. The mold portion is brass. The smallest ball mold diameter is about 7mm and the largest is about 13mm. The swiveling arms are iron and the handles are wood. The brass portion has written on the side FAI PAR COUPIL A BONNETABLE. The design is simple but when the handles are swiveled out and squeezed it is clear that plenty of pressure can be brought to bear...

Very interesting Imperial German dog tag. This is the second of 2 that I recently found and both look to be from the same area and in the same unit. Lovely script engraving that I have not seen before. All I have previously seen are block letter typed. Looks like Johannes Gerhhardt from a Bremen address. DOB is 15.5.72. Very interesting Imperial German dog tag. Lovely script engraving that I have not seen before. All I have previously seen are blobk letter typed. Looks like Heinrich Selchert from a Bremen address. DOB is 9.2.72. Ersatz battalion Ldw J R 72 Gen H No 2902. Really a nice, unique piece. If this fellow was going to war in 1914 he would have been 42 so I am assuming he may have had money for a "prettier" dog tag and was some sort of specialist. Just a guess but there must be some reason for a fancy d...

A superb antique 17th -19th century Hungarian – Polish Nobleman's silver-gilt mounted sword belt, made in the characteristic Transylvanian manner of belts produced in Hermannstadt - Nagyszeben, present-day Romanian city Sibiu, which was an important goldsmith center, and the producer of weapons and military equipment, not only for Hungary, but also for Central and Eastern Europe. Many of these types of Transylvanian belts were exported to the Kingdom of Poland due to the fact that the costume...

Some items are cool beyond their value and this is one of this pieces where we say "Oh if it could talk...". Super looking German entrenching tool (Shovel) that just screams western front trench warfare. The blade has two marks which I take to be a manufacturer mark and military acceptance mark. The date is a little rubbed out but looks like 1915. 1915 is also impressed into the handle wood. The leather blade cover and is also maker marked and dated 1916. The stampings are crisp but I can't make...
