Gorgeous example of a rare dagger. N.P.E.A. student dagger with bottom crossguard marked N.58 . This is an early number and the "N" indicates the school to be Naumburg/Saale. Students had the option of engraving the school on the upper crossguard and this one is indeed engraved N.P.E.A. Naumburg/Saale. I believe the upper engravings were done upon graduation. The blade is an extremely nice example with very minor age wear and cross graining still showing...

1849 dated model 1840 cavalry saber by Ames Mfg Co Cabotville. This model which predated the model 1860 is a big, heavy thing nicknamed "The Wristbreaker" and the only thing worse then swinging one would be to be on the other end. The handle wrapping is long gone and the metal parts have been painted gold long, long ago as was often done in veteran groups such as GAR. This is more subtle then in my flash heavy photos but gold painted it is...

Very interesting engraving on this Imperial German artillery sword. Gorgeous blade is clean as a whistle and bright as a mirror with nicely executed and detailed engraving. One side shows the limbered artillery and stands of arms motif we see on some engraved artillery swords. The other side shows a mounted soldier, horse head and floral motif engraved along with the dedication Fritz Neuf Weihnachten 1910 (With Weinachten translating to Christmas)...

Authentic, antique American Civil War Confederate infantry officer sword patterned after the U.S. model 1850 Foot Officer’s word  in the classic unmarked version does not have any maker’s markings, or inspector's stamps, which is typical for most of the confederate swords made by many small manufactures during the civil war.

All union swords are marked by US makers, or by European makers, which they exported to the Union...

Very attractive Japanese officer dress sword with blade presentation. I can't make it all out but I believe to an officer of the 35 Infantry. I have seen such a presentation before attributed to a military school. The Mon (Or family crest) is the Mandarin Orange...

Excellent example of KABAR Marine fighting knife. Most of the bluing remains on the blade. Stapled scabbard is likewise in excellent condition with staples still present. The reverse of the scabbard has the veteran's name painted on: Roy L. James JR. The same name is lightly impressed on the front but only really visible if the light shines on it just right. Overall a really nice knife with a cool personalization which is conveniently placed on the reverse where it is not overly obvious.

Very nice 1915 dated M98/05 bayonet with sawback for combat engineer or pioneer troops. Maker marked Deutsche Maschinenfabrik A-G Duisburg on ricasso. Blade is nice and clean with minimal greying from age. As is typical with such combat and field used bayonets there is some light sharpening and four tiny nicks on the cutting edge. Spine a crown over 'W' over 15 representing manufacture during 1915 in the reign of Kaiser Wilhelm. Wood grip is in excellent condition and the unit as a whole is nice...

Kabar (Or KA-BAR) fighting knife with terrific overall look. Condition throughout shows gentle period wear consistent with theater used examples but no damage or mistreatment. The grip was a small crack on the section just before the pommel. This is unfortunately a common occurrence with these knives but there is no wiggle and not overly distracting. Blade is marked KA-BAR on one side and USN on the other. The scabbard is a nice, soft brown leather which is healthy a pliant. Just under the throa...
