A truly exceptional antique Chinese Qianlong period sword and one of the few genuine examples of this quality offered on the market in the past several years. This example dates from the mid 18th C. Qianlong period. The hilt is composed of the traditional style of vinuous carved gilded copper, or tombac, fittings. These fittings are beautiful carved and have dragons throughout.
The blade is extraordinarily rare and represents one of two known in the world...
Nice WWI sawback bayonet, meant for the guy that likes the used look (I do). The sawback is in fine shape but the edge has been heavily sharpened leading to a narrow middle (See photos). These were intended for pioneer use to clear branches etc, but were popular with the men in the trench who needed every edge possible for business. This looks to have been well used during the war. Blade is marked Simson&Co SUHL...
This is a lovely Belgian Cavalry saber. German blade makers were very popular with many different countries at the time and this was most certainly a private purchase. The size is very comparable to the U.S. model 1860 cavalry saber so I would date this right around the mid 19th century. The blade is engraved POUR LE ROI - ET LA PATRIE, French for "For King and Homeland". The lion rampant shown on both the blade engraving and the handle indicate this is Belgian...
Interesting army officer dagger from East Germany. Mint in original issue box with hangers and belt loop. Intriguingly, the warranty is still present offerring 12 month warranty from June 20 1990. The German Democratic Republic closed shop on October 3 1990. I would have had little confidence in this warranty. The serial number 085602 is on the ricasso of the dagger, the warranty and even the box, although a bit faded on box as per last attached image...
A truly elegant example of this extremely rare Indian dagger. This type is known in several famous collection including the Al-Sabah Collection in Kuwait, see "Art of the Muslim Knight," as well as in the Bikaner Armoury. Also see the new Bob Hales Collection catalogue, a magisterial work and the best book on antique eastern arms and armor of the past decade.
Our example remains in beautiful original condition, with the chiseling and detail remaining in excellent condition...
A fine and quite rare pair of Ottoman Turkish blunderbuss pistol. This example is perfectly matched and heavily inlaid with silver decoration on the exposed metal parts and inlaid into the matched wooden stocks. Very fine condition and dating to the early 19th C.
Overall length is 21", barrel is 12" for each.
Engraved Bavarian sword by Eickhorn. I believe this short model (Just over 70cm end to end) is intended for use by police. This is an early Imperial German example with the early back to back squirrel Eickhorn logo. The blade is very nice with no nicks or plating issues and only very minor light spotting here and there due to age. Both sides of the blade are engraved with the Bavarian "In Treue Fest" motto (In true service). Also engraved is the distributor J.M. PAUSCHINGER NURNBERG...
Good kris knife acquired from a Brunei collection, the blade on this is circa 100 years old while the handle and sheath are about 20 years only. The blade has a fine cutting edge and is in excellent condition with no nicks or breakage. Total L: 52cm/20.5in, blade L: 35cm/13.8in.
A fine example with the original matching silver and niello encrusted belt. This is a well made Dagestani or Georgian kindjal with chiseled silver and repousse scabbard fittings. The handle is horn and the blade marked with a maker stamp. Fine original condition all around. The fittings are stamped with Russian cyrillic and Arabic characters.
All silver parts are stamped with Russian silver proof mark "84" and woman's head.
overall length - 23.5"

A really great and rare example of a very early Moroccan nimcha. This type with the characteristic carved handle is usually made of tortoiseshell and mother of pearl but all of the extant known pieces are mounted with this type of blade, a Genoan import blade of sturdy fighting proportions for the Algerian and North African corsairs that would have carried this sword in the late 17th-early 18th C...
A superb quality 19th C. Moroccan nimcha with a fabulous French made blade specifcally for the Moroccan trade in the classic Nimcha shape. The very large handle is in nearly perfect condition with a two tone color present in the highest quality Nimcha handles and with a gold koftgari crossguard in 99% condition and silver mounted scabbard. Particularly pleasing is the original thick and lustrous orange textile hanger.
