Attractive American M1912 officer's cap. Nice clean cap with with good shape and a nice, period used look. Beside the wearer's left ear is a stretch of about 3 inches where the stitching is missing along the sweatband. This is not noticeable unless pulled at because the cap keeps its shape very crisply (Image 7). The maker logo in the silk lining is blurred and not readable (Image 4). Also, from left to right along the lining and just under the logo is some separation from solid use (Image 5)...

Really a very, very cool Egyptian general's visor cap. There are one or two other examples online that are far fancier but without doubt far later. I have handled many WWII visor caps from various nations and this is very close in both materials used and method of construction. In my best educated opinion I would put this in the 1950's if not to the 1948 war with Israel...

Absolutely gorgeous and quite rare white summer visor cap for Fascist Italian political officer. The front eagle and fasces badge is a thick bullion weave that is shockingly rich and deep. This is amazing work ad the burgundy backing indicates the wearer was attached to the Foreign Ministry. The white top has some very light soiling due to age but still in great shape. The bullion band is an added touch of class as most every example I have seen has had a black band...

French RÉQUISITIONS MILITAIRE armband with a great look to it. Plate with this wording being sewn onto khaki armband along with two strips of tress indicating rank. The reverse shows a three prong metal buckle. Gentle age wear and some staining that is minor and does little to detract from the overall look. I believe this would be worn by Quartermaster department personnel or other uniformed personnel as a badge to indicate the appropriate clearance and authority to requisition goods or service...

Interesting bright red sash with kanji that translates to "Naval Aircraft Technician". I believe this would be worn on the flight deck in a similar manner that we still have different color shirts for maintenance, fire control etc. This way the confusion of a bustling aircraft carrier flight deck is a little easier to figure out...

Very rare 1930's private purchase USMC EGA cap insignia (Eagle, Globe and Anchor). Terrific detail throughout with longitudinal and latitudinal lines. The eagle's right wing reverse has the MEYER METAL logo and the reverse of the left wing has the NS Meyer shield logo. The lower right corner of the eagle is darker then the rest of the EGA. Presumably this had something to do with how it was stored but whatever the reason my golden rule is to just leave it alone...

This is a WWI German Army Uniform BUTTON. It measures about 3/4" X 3/4" X 3/8" ( 1.9 cm X 1.9 cm X 1.0 cm ).

Nice cockade for Luftschutz visor cap. Nice, even silver wash to the wreath with very gentle rub wear to the high relief of the oak leaves. Red felt center is complete. Multiple piece construction with pleasant, even patina on reverse indicating all pieces have been together as a unit for the duration. Nice example of a difficult piece of insignia to find.

Very nice WWI camouflage M16 helmet. Gentler camo pattern then found on most German helmets but a very nice and very undoubtable overall package. Some paint loss due to age and wear and a rub here and there but a great overall look. The liner is complete with pads except for damage to one of the six tongues tongues (Image 5) and small chips to two others. The manufacturer mark looks like TJ 66 for C. Thiel & Soehne, Luebeck...

Very nice belt buckle and leather tab. Both in excellent shape and both maker marked by Assmann and dated 1938. Great looking item.

Very cool uncut roll of Japanese 2nd Class Private collar insignia. This is one of my Tokyo flea market finds. On the outside layer there are five sets of two tabs. I counted 47 layers, give or take a few because it is a tight roll and not easy to count. The layers get smaller towards the middle but there should be somewhere around 175 pairs so I am pricing at one dollar per pair. Fun to find unused gear out if the woodwork.

Nice brass Prussian belt buckle with leather tab. Tab is well worn but still strong. Buckle shows good detail and excellent condition. Polished somewhere along the way but still very nice.

Very nice early 1847 pattern Prussian Belt and buckle. This pattern was used through 1895. Attached sixth image shows the reverse with solder points. The buckle is quite attached to the leather so I decided not to remove it for photos. Rare to find with the proper leather belt. There is one scrunched edge on the leather as well as a small square from an old price sticker. Very nice, early belt.

Great looking shoulder board for German Lieutenant General. Very rich gold and silver Russial braid with red backing. One third from the top is a large single pip (About 23mm wide) indicating the rank above General Major. The pip shows gentle age wear and the red backing has one tiny moth nip about 1x2mm (See last image). This is very tiny and does almost nothing in detracting from this great looking shoulder board. If only it could talk. Nice item.

Absolutely stunning set. Fascist Italian Brocade officer belt with sword hangers in original box. I believe this rig is for Public Safety Police which is probably one of those innocuous names for a sketchy organization. The buckle itself is a lovely gold gilt example featuring an eagle beneath a crown gripping a fasces and with a nicely rendered enamel House of Savoy crest on his belly...

Very high quality full dress tunic for Japanese naval captain. Lovely dark blue shell with bullion work around the color that is just out of this world. There is one small snag in the bullion but almost impossible to see with all the activity. None of the buttons look to be reattached nor does there seem to be any repairs. The inside is made of a high quality quilted fabric that is very clean and pleasantly pliable. There a couple of tine rub holes on the inside lining but truly not a big deal a...
