This great vintage bridge set is still in its original packaging - never opened / used - mint. The box set measures 10 3/4" x 7 1/2" and reads, "LEARN TO PLAY BRIDGE... According to HOYLE." It includes a Bridge Instruction book, 2 decks of cards and a scorepad. The cards are colorful: one deck a bunny rabbit, the other a chipmunk. It is especially unique because it comes with the teaching bridge booklet. The set is circa 1950's or 1960's.

This great card set has never been opened / used and has 2 sets of colorful cards. The plastic around the box is slightly torn; but the box still cannot be opened unless the plastic is completely taken off. The box has a velvet feel with gold trim and measures 5" x 3 3/4". The top reads CONGRESS Playing Cards, CEL-U-TONE FINISH and Only Congress Cards have CEL-U-TONE FINISH. This set is circa 1950s.
This Mah Jong game case contains 144 tiles in 4 trays. There is a tray that is sealed with dice and sticks. It looks like this game has never been played. There is a Mah Jong rule book for beginners based on the rules and regulations of the Mah Jong Association of Japan. This book is prepared for Futami Kogei-sha to be included with their Mah Jong sets. The case is green and measures 11 1/2" by 7 5/8" by about 2" tall. It has a handle. Very nice condition. Circa 1950's - 1960's.

A delightful and diminutive, circa 1950's set of children's wooden architectural building blocks marked "Made in Japan". Measuring a slight 4" x 5", the brightly painted blocks are housed in a cardboard box featuring a darling, colorful graphic of a child playing with them. Condition is quite fine with the exception noted of 2 missing blocks.

A delightful 19th century children's game based on Daniel Defoe's classic book Robinson Crusoe. This game entitled "Robinson Crusoe and His Man Friday" has 28 of the original 30 cards (cards are 2.25x3.25 inches) each with etched, hand-colored images of Robinson Crusoe, his man Friday and a host of plant life, animals and objects that might be found on Crusoe's island. The cards are in fine condition, showing just a hint of age.

Not just for children, these blocks are even a challenge for adults! The German's are known for their excellent chromolithographs and these are wonderful depictions of Victorian children and their dogs and animals at play in various scenes.
