A delightful and diminutive, circa 1950's set of children's wooden architectural building blocks marked "Made in Japan". Measuring a slight 4" x 5", the brightly painted blocks are housed in a cardboard box featuring a darling, colorful graphic of a child playing with them. Condition is quite fine with the exception noted of 2 missing blocks.

Beautiful pre 1950's dealers card rack of wonderful marblelized red bakelite. It also comes with its original box!!! The bakelite rack is signed " HOLDTITE U.S. PAT. APPLIED 1-24-48 No.4157 SERIES 1948." This card rack measures 5 1/8" long x 3 3/8" wide x 1 1/2" high. This card rack is in EXTRA FINE CONDITION!!!
Here is a really beautiful old game board that we have framed for hanging. It features a steeplechase theme and dates to the early 1900's. This game is marked "J.W.S.& S. Bavaria". The artwork is incredible- lots of action in the various scenes around the track- we have several misshaps- an badly injured jockey, a horse that has entered the crowd, and several riders down. We also see a picnic, a fight among the spectators, and the weighing of some jockeys...
This is a complete 'double-6' set of antique dominoes. They are in their original tongue and groove wood box, which shows a good bit of age. It measures 7 X 2.25 inches and is covered in worm holes. This set dates to the 1800's and comes from France, and was probably made in Africa. Each tile is made of bone and ebony wood. The two halves of each tile are attached with brass or white metal pins...

This circa 1920's, children's outdoor game made by Parker Brothers of Salem, Massachusetts, retains all of its original game pieces as well as the original game box cover, which has been professionally matted with museum quality, acid-free materials. (Alas, the remainder of the game box disintegrated long ago.)
The 3 game piece rings are constructed of heavy hemp rope with a painted wooden bead- each rope bead a different color. The pole, upon which one attempts to toss the ring, is all wood...
This great vintage bridge set is still in its original packaging - never opened / used - mint. The box set measures 10 3/4" x 7 1/2" and reads, "LEARN TO PLAY BRIDGE... According to HOYLE." It includes a Bridge Instruction book, 2 decks of cards and a scorepad. The cards are colorful: one deck a bunny rabbit, the other a chipmunk. It is especially unique because it comes with the teaching bridge booklet. The set is circa 1950's or 1960's.

A delightful 19th century children's game based on Daniel Defoe's classic book Robinson Crusoe. This game entitled "Robinson Crusoe and His Man Friday" has 28 of the original 30 cards (cards are 2.25x3.25 inches) each with etched, hand-colored images of Robinson Crusoe, his man Friday and a host of plant life, animals and objects that might be found on Crusoe's island. The cards are in fine condition, showing just a hint of age.
Research dates this game to 1845...

This is a huge old framed game board from the 1930-40 era. The artwork here is so bright and beautiful with lots of action all around the track. It is housed in a custom frame that measures 55 X 24.25 inches. This is one of a collection of vintage sporting game boards that we have gotten framed. It would look wonderful in a den or game room.

A very nice set of of eight antique bone, hand painted, game counters. Gilded background with four playing cards on the front and back of each counter. Very interesting group.
Condition: Very good. Perhaps could be cleaned, but have not done so.

This great card set has never been opened / used and has 2 sets of colorful cards. The plastic around the box is slightly torn; but the box still cannot be opened unless the plastic is completely taken off. The box has a velvet feel with gold trim and measures 5" x 3 3/4". The top reads CONGRESS Playing Cards, CEL-U-TONE FINISH and Only Congress Cards have CEL-U-TONE FINISH. This set is circa 1950s.
