Offered is an antique, C1910, German-made dexterity puzzle that measures 1 15/16" in diameter and 3/8" thick. This delightful game features a fixed, small mouse trap with two, moving, metal mice. The object of the game is to get the mice into the trap.
Colorful detailing of cats on cardboard covered-bottom is marked "Made in Germany". Tin frame holds game with glass cover on one side and mirror on reverse side.

This great card set has never been opened / used and has 2 sets of colorful cards. The plastic around the box is slightly torn; but the box still cannot be opened unless the plastic is completely taken off. The box has a velvet feel with gold trim and measures 5" x 3 3/4". The top reads CONGRESS Playing Cards, CEL-U-TONE FINISH and Only Congress Cards have CEL-U-TONE FINISH. This set is circa 1950s.

This adorable set of puzzle blocks, circa 1930-40's, has all of its original paper pictures. Purchased in France, the paper box measures 9-3/4" x 6". The blocks measure a little more than 1-3/4" square. Six scenes in all (the cover of the cardboard box counts as one) the colors are vibrant & the images represent children playig during different seasons - children at the beach, picking apples, playing music outdoors, running track & field, having a picnic & skiing - such a charming set...
This circa 1920's, children's outdoor game made by Parker Brothers of Salem, Massachusetts, retains all of its original game pieces as well as the original game box cover, which has been professionally matted with museum quality, acid-free materials. (Alas, the remainder of the game box disintegrated long ago.)

A delightful and diminutive, circa 1950's set of children's wooden architectural building blocks marked "Made in Japan". Measuring a slight 4" x 5", the brightly painted blocks are housed in a cardboard box featuring a darling, colorful graphic of a child playing with them. Condition is quite fine with the exception noted of 2 missing blocks.
This great vintage bridge set is still in its original packaging - never opened / used - mint. The box set measures 10 3/4" x 7 1/2" and reads, "LEARN TO PLAY BRIDGE... According to HOYLE." It includes a Bridge Instruction book, 2 decks of cards and a scorepad. The cards are colorful: one deck a bunny rabbit, the other a chipmunk. It is especially unique because it comes with the teaching bridge booklet. The set is circa 1950's or 1960's.

Not just for children, these blocks are even a challenge for adults! The German's are known for their excellent chromolithographs and these are wonderful depictions of Victorian children and their dogs and animals at play in various scenes. There are 4 different scenes included but I have finally figured out the 5th and am working on the final 6th scene(I told you it's a challenge...sooo much fun!) The wooden box is missing 1 end as shown in photos but all blocks are in tact...
A very nice set of of eight antique bone, hand painted, game counters. Gilded background with four playing cards on the front and back of each counter. Very interesting group.

Vintage McLoughlin game of "Peter Coddle and His First Trip to New York." Excellent lithographed box cover showing Mr. Coddle as he examines an early bicycle. The box has some scuffs along the edges and the top edge of the lithograph has a tear. 4-1/4"x5-1/2".
