A VERY EARLY HALCYON DAYS ENAMEL BIRTHDAY BOX RETAILED BY CARTIER. Marked on the base with Halcyon Days' earliest mark used only for 3 years - 1970-1973. Also marked CARTIER NEW YORK. The box has a beautiful turquoise blue base. The hinged lid features a white enamel background decorated with a bird design and lettered "Happy Birthday" in script. In fine, as new, condition.
Vintage English enamelware bread box in the unusual colors of cream with robin egg's blue rim, handles, and embossed 3-D lettering, c. 1930. It is a great size measuring 12" high by 14" wide. It has the original sticker on the front that says: This Ware is Guaranteed and is British Made. It has some enamel loss and some rusting, but in great condition for its age!

The round and probably copper body is decorated with a semi translucent blue ground and opaque stylized bouquet of white and mottled blue flowers with green leaves adorn the surface. The verso is unsigned.

French Art Deco circular copper box with inlayed hunting frieze, the cover with a band of bamboo and to the centre a Chinese shou symbol, made circa 1925. The box measures 10cm in diameter and is 5.5cm high. The base has the remains of an old exhibition label, which I cannot read. The photographs show the box from all sides. An enamel on copper cup or beaker and a small dish. Both are Italian modernist pieces (1950’s), both enameled in tomato red with black speckles (the back of the dish in gilt and white). The cup marked with a small metal sign in the way of Paolo de Poli, stamped Made in Italy, the dish with impressed mark. The height of the cup "2/ 5 cm, the diameter of the dish bowl: "3 ½ / 8,7 cm. The round box with hinged lid is enameled with a red orange ground centered by a tiger framed by a leafy and floral wreath. The green enameled body is trimmed in with brass findings. The verso is marked with various information about the maker including “Bilston Enamel, The Tiger Flower Box, No. 235, Limited Edition.”
