This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in Italy by Caopdimonte between 1740 and 1745. It bears a rare “Fleur de Lis” mark under glaze. The saucer is 5 1/4 inches in diameter and is 1 inch deep. The cup is 2 3/4 inches high with a diameter of 2 3/8 inches. The porcelain is highly translucent with egg shell quality. It has a parchment hue and has imperfections in the glaze. The cup shape and handle are very similar to Meissen cups of that time...

Antique 19th-century Italian white porcelain figural group Capodimonte Cozzi (Blanc de Chine).

The hand-sculptured figurine portrays two Putti in a typical rococo style, adorned with wreaths of flowers. One of the Putti is seated on the back of a sheep, while the other is playing with the sheep, and a small lamb is shown nursing milk from its mother sheep. The figurines are placed on a base decorated with a rococo-style design and decorated with flowers...

The delicate form with a round body on a narrow pedestal base, and narrow neck with pitcher spout and curved scrolled handle. The body is depicting Dionysus the Olympian god of wine, pleasure, festivity, holding a cup of wine. He is accompanied by a troop of Satyrs and Maenads...

A large deep dish with hand painted blue lines and blue hand applied stencil flowers, roses in the center and flowers (possibly peony) and foliage around the rim. Early Doccia (circa 1750) had stenciled blue flowers on both maiolica and porcelain. I suspect that those pieces or similarly decorated mid-18th century ceramics were the inspiration for this piece...

Capodimonte porcelain hinged box in high-relief with hand-painted frolicking cherubs and satyrs with a dark grey horse and on the lid are cherubs playing with a goat. Condition: the front panel has a firing flaw and is indented. On the base is a marked verso with a blue letter N over a crown. It was made in Naples Italy. Age: Late 19th Century Size: 4 ¾” ht. x 5 5/8” w. x 4” d. (12.06 x 14.6 x10.16 cm)

Very rare antique 19th century (c1880) luster glaze majolica vase by Ulisse Cantagalli of Firenze, Italy. An impressive large two-handled lustre vase in Islamic Hispano - Moresque, Moorish Alhambra style decorated in cobalt blue with raised pseudo-Arabic calligraphy in Thuluth script and various animals, foliage and birds painted in white on the copper luster ground.

Large lustre-glazed faience or majolica dish by Alfredo Santarelli in Gualdo Tadino, Deruta, Italy. Santarelli (1874-1957) took his inspiration from near-by Urbino, the birth-place of the most exquisite 16th century Renaissance maiolica. Mixing this with Hispano-Moresque lustre glaze effects he created his highly decorative Neo-Renaissance / Istoriato pieces. Early monogrammed AS signature, c 1910. Large antique 19th C terracotta sculpture in the Italian Renaissance style of a beautiful woman. All original with no repairs or touch-ups, rarely do you find one of these pieces with the paint and gold gilt intact. This piece has just been lightly dusted with a soft brush for the past 25 years. A decorators dream, she measures a little over 18" high x 15" wide at the base. Circa 1880...

A faïence vase by Cantagalli with silverluster and blue decoration in the Hispano-Moresque or Ottoman style, c 1880-90. Ulysse Cantagalli, Florence, drew his inspiration from Arts and Crafts designers like William de Morgan, from Italian Renaissance and Islamic ceramics. Marked with the singing cockerel of the Cantagalli factory. Height "4 ¾ / 13 cm. Condition: mouth rim with two minimal glaze flakes, and a glaze burst near the foot rim (cf. pics).

A larger than usual maiolica dry jug jar painted on the front with the scene of Saint Martin dividing his cloak with a beggar. On the back is the cypher for the Carthusian order and the date 1700. Unfortunately it is highly unlikely that this is the date of manufacture for the jar, which is almost certainly from the late 19th century and is loosely based on the series of jars that were made from 1697 into the early 18th century...

Italian Capodimonte Porcelain Cup and Saucer, Cup - 3" high and 4 1/4" wide include white and green twisted handle, and Saucer - 1" high, 5 1/2" diameter, ca. 1900 or late 1800's, possibly from Naples factory, with low and high relief design of Classic figures and horse drawn cart beside the tower. Marked in gold plus impress number "5" on the bottom. Small floral branches and leaf design in gold inside the cup as well as on top of the saucer in the center, gold rim is worn...

A Doccia master salt circa 1770; the molded form is a copy of a silver form. The piece is decorated with red enamel flowers with gilt highlights. Doccia was founded circa 1735 near Florence and continues to produce porcelain. Height is approximately 1 ½ inches (3.8 cm). Length is 3 ¼ inches (7.6cm) and width is 2 5/8 inches (5.1 cm).

Condition: Chipped foot with slight discoloration on foot, otherwise nice.

A Fine Pair of Italian Faience Bowls by Ulisse Cantagalli with the Cockerel or Rooster Mark of 1878-1901. Dimensions; 9.5" in diameter 4" high. Some minor wear, but in very fine condition.

This porcelain casket was produced in Italy in the late 19th century by Capodimonte. It measures 11 1/2 inches long, 7 inches wide and 4 1/4 inches high. It has a gilt metal frame with hinges and a latch to close it. The porcelain is molded with high relief scenes and ornamentation. Greek gods, nude figures, cherubs and animals cover the surface. It even has dolphins. They are done in bright, colorful enamels. The casket is profusely gilded. It is in excellent condition.
