Edwardian sterling silver baby bowl on plate. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1911. Bowl has curved and tapering sides. Plate has well and wide shoulder. Both have whiplash-scrolled rim and applied figures—an eclectic frieze that includes dog-petting hobos, stickball playing boys, tool-bearing workmen, and pipe-smoking grannies. Gorgeous American Art Nouveau sterling silver picture frame, ca 1900. Rectangular window in flat surround. On front acid-etched iris flowers with floppy, irregular petals and scrolled and whiplash tendrils. At top trapezoid (vacant). Sides plain. Rare Gorham sterling silver Acanthus vase. This wonderful vase with a fluted body is embossed in high relief with acanthus leaf shell design around the foot and mouth. This a first class quality vase, bearing the Gorham sterling trademarks. In excellent condition, it measures 8.5" high.

Sterling silver centerpiece bowl. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1916. Shallow with scalloped and everted rim, and molded foot. Interior is lobed with geometric and floral piercing. Low-relief foliage on rim. Very sweet. Hallmark includes date symbol and pattern number (2163A).

A Rare George I Silver Meat Platter with a gadrooned edge. Hallmarked in London in 1727 (the last year of George I's reign) and made by John Montgomery (the mark is rubbed, but can be made out). Dimensions; 14" x 10.5" x 0.5" high; weight a heavy 31.1 Troy ounces. Some surface scratches from use and one very small dimple on the surface.

An Impressive Teapot by Peter, Ann and William Bateman; London 1804. Signed PB AB WB for the three Bateman's. Weight 33.2 Standard/30.2 Troy ounces. Dimensions; 10.5" high x 9" handle to spout. Some minor flea bites, particularly on inside rim (see picture).

Edwardian Rococo sterling silver mirror. Made by William Comyns in London in 1907. Heart-shaped beveled glass in shaped surround with pointed top and bracket supports. Embossed leafing scrolls and flowers in pell-mell, dynamic arrangement. At top scrolled cartouche engraved with the very turn-of-the-century name “Gertie”. Velvet mount with hinged easel support. A wonderful period piece with lots of charm. Fully marked. Very good condition. Velvet wear.
