Found as a group of 4....these are FOUR AMERICAN SILVER TEASPOONS late 19th/early 20th century, maker's mark of Whiting Mfg. Co., retailed by F. D. Johnson. Beatiful 'Arabesque' pattern (4) TEASPOONS 5 7/8" in length. Winged GRIFFIN on the Front. EXCELLENT Condition

Beautiful sterling silver asparagus fork made by Whiting, patented 1891, and sold by Bailey, Banks & Biddle.  It measures 10" long x 3 1/2" wide, and weighs 127 grams.  It is in wonderful condition with no dents, scratches or any other problems.  It has the initial B on the handle.

A beautiful sterling silver berry or casserole spoon in Whiting's desirable 1896 "Dresden" pattern. The handle is decorated on both sides with sprays of roses. The matte gilt bowl is scalloped and decorated with repousse beading and volutes. The spoon is stamped with Whiting's hallmark and has the patent date indicating an early date of manufacture.

Origin: America, ca. 1900. Condition: excellent, original gilding intact, sharp detail, no monogram. Size: 8-3/4" long. Weight: 87.0 grams.

Plique à jour enamel and gilt sterling silver bowl. Made by David Andersen in Norway, ca 1925. Inspired by Viking longboat with dragonhead stempost and tail sternpost, and rim comprising warrior’s shields. Stylized plant and geometric ornament. Well has radiating green guilloche enamel. Oval form for stealthy gliding. Fine craftsmanship and rich colors. Fully marked including maker’s stamp. Excellent condition.

A George III Silver Teapot by Henry Chawner and Hallmarked in London in 1792. A Bright Cut Teapot with Serpentine Shaped Sides and Engraved with Armorials on Both Sides. A Domed Oval Hinged Lid and a Wooden Finial and Scroll Handle. Dimensions; 6" High x 4" wide x 10" handle to spout. Weight 11.8 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

Delightful Victorian sterling silver rattle. Made by WH Collins & Co. in Birmingham in 1897. Kitty stands stiffly in snug fitting jacket and trousers. Only the tail is free to flick back and forth. A funny depiction of feline ill grace. A bit of a sour puss, but endearing nonetheless. Mother of pearl handle. Fully marked. Good condition.

Each: Ovoid socket with round detachable bobeche on tapering shaft with base knop; raised foot. Engraved borders comprising paterae with pendant flowers and vases joined by garland. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and no. 101C. Very good condition with a few pings.

Victorian Classical sterling silver mustard pot. Made by Charles Thomas Fox & George Fox in London in 1858. Drum-form with straight and inset sides, and open bottom. Cover flat and hinged, and scroll-bracket handle with scallop shell thumb rest. Engraved ornament: On sides, leafing scrollwork, flowers, and eagles, and on cover top round frame (vacant) surrounded by leafing scrollwork. With cobalt glass liner. Fully marked. A Barbour Silver Co. silver plated tilt kettle, stand and associated burner from the 1890s. It has a simple, elegant design and it stands 13" tall from the top of the ebony wood handle to the bottom of the stand's ball feet. The base is unsigned, the kettle is stamped BARBOUR SILVER CO. NICKEL SILVER 4002 (operating from 1892-98) and the associated burner has the Meriden stamp...

A Magnificent Sterling Silver Center Bowl or Fruit Bowl by Theodore B. Starr in an Art Nouveau Pattern with a Gadroon Border on the Top Edge and the Base. There is a Monogram on the Underside. Dimensions; 9.25" in diameter x 3.75" high; weight, a substantial 27.7 Troy ounces. Circa 1900. Excellent condition.

A gorgeous sterling silver cream ladle rare on two counts. First, Fessenden’s 1910 “Tulip” pattern is very uncommon. Secondly, while spoons were often engraved as souvenir pieces, serving pieces were hardly ever given this treatment. This is the only souvenir cream ladle we’ve seen. The matte gilt bowl is engraved with a very detailed representation of the U.S. Capitol Building underscored by “Washington DC”. The back is hallmarked by Fessenden & Co.
