Engraved and acid-etched stylized ornament: Imbricated leaf border on neck and egg-and-dart border on foot. Elongated leaf-and-dart on body. Elegant sterling silver bonbon server in Kirk's popular "Repousse" pattern--probably the most famous of all the Baltimore silver patterns. The bowl is embellished with intricately designed fruit including grapes, pineapples, strawberries, and peaches. The reverse is marked "S. Kirk & Co. Sterling".

German 800 silver cow creamer, ca 1910. A sweet bovine with upturned horns, flexed ears, and smiley mouth spout. Sturdy sagging body with ring-handle tail and hinged back cover with fly finial. Stands on firmly planted hooves. Unidentified Hanau marks. Very good condition.

Edwardian sterling silver porringer with circus motif. Made by William B. Kerr in Newark, ca 1910. Upward tapering sides and molded rim. Solid and waisted handle. Acid-etched procession with piggies, kitties, and doggies as well as elephants and lions in fancy dress. Monkey-supported mirror for engraving the initials of the cutest animal of all. Small Sterling Tray with beautiful floral repousse border. This ornate type of repousse pattern has often been imitated and is known as the Baltimore Style. The S. Kirk & Son mark on bottom indicates date of manufacture to be 1925-1932. Size: 6.25" Dia.

Elegant reticulated sterling silver swing-handle basket with a cobalt blue glass liner. The basket is pierced in an intricate pattern that allows the deep blue glass to shine through. The handle is pierced to match. The basket could be used for sugar, bonbons, nuts, sauces, small floral arrangements, etc. The base is hallmarked by the Watson Co.

Pair of Chinese export silver vases, ca 1910. Each: Flat and round moon body on domed foot; animal-head handles mounted to shoulder. On front and back is chased dragon—a horned and taloned serpentine serpent on hand-hammered ground. Marked Wang Hing & Co., an early 20th-century retailer active in Canton and Hong Kong. Very good condition. Handwork visible on foot underside.

Outstanding sterling silver pastry serving fork in Alvin's rare Art Nouveau "Majestic" pattern. Created in 1900, this pattern was a multi-motif design--each piece was decorated with a slightly different floral pattern. This piece features beautifully detailed daffodils and sinuous foliage. Excellent condition with sharp details and no monogram. 7-1/4" long.

An antique German silver mesh purse with pierced frame showing deers and roses. The frame marked with the crescent moon and crown, "800" and a maker's mark. Condition: a tiny hole in the mesh, two links of the chain a bit distorted. Dimension: frame: c. 19 cm wide, purse: c. 18 cm high, weight: 360 g.
