19th Century Rock Crystal Paperweight/Inkwell. Large and Heavy. Brass horseshoe with seven nails, bronze coronet band and brass engraved lid. Measures: 3.75" tall and approx 4" wide and deep. This perfume stand or caddy was produced in France in the 1870s. The mark on the Longwy insert is partially covered but may be from 1815 to 1835. The metal stand is 8 ¾ inches high and the diameter is inches. The metal is dore gilded. There are three hand cut crystal bottles with stoppers. A Longwy ceramic dish or tray was used as an insert for the stand. It gives the stand a Persian look...

Circa 1860, A gorgeous Napoleon style gold gilt bronze hand mirror with beveled glass. Carved in high relief is a tender scene of a young man teaching a maiden to play the flute. A sheep is in the foreground. The scene is surround by 3 bands of enameling: black, white, and deep blue with a gold foliate design. In excellent antique condition, it measures 11.75 inches long x 6.5" across.
