A fine oil on board of Isaac Henderson, attributed to Giddings Hyde Ballou. Ballou was a highly regarded itinerant painter, born in CT, who did a good portion of his work in the Cape Cod area. Documentation relating to his work is provided with this painting.

This is a wonderful pair of Derby putti disguised as flower sellers, dating from the 1770 period. The figures are mirror images of each other, as true pairs should be. Each putti has a basket of flowers over one arm, while a single flower is held in the hand of the other arm. The height is 5 1/2", considerably larger than the usual putti...

This is a superb example of the hooked rug pattern generally attributed to E.S. Frost & Company. Although Frost did have a lion pattern, it was substantially different and less complex than the Lion and Palm pattern designed by Ebenezer Ross, which is the one offered here. This particular rug is also done in a beautiful and uncommon combination of colors. Notice the striped motif along the bottom, mirroring a tiger or zebra pattern...

Panelled and diaper molded border picked out in blue and green, handpainted and signed "P. Vissier", and dated 1769. The plate has two labels, one from the Newman collection, and the other from the Harriet Carlton Goldweitz collection, considered one of the finest English pottery collections of the last 25 years. 9 5/8 inches in diameter, superb condition with deep, vibrant color, and no chips, cracks, or restoration.

This is a beautifully decorated pair of American grape shears, ca. 1890, heavily repossed handles with grapes and grape leaves design, marked sterling on both handles, steel blades marked K. C. Seelbach Co. Germany; Excellent condition; blades may need cleaning. measurement: 6 1/2 in. long.

A Silver (Continental) Quill Dip Pen with a Silver Filagree Feather End and a Filigree Body. There is a mark on the pen that we cannot identify, but appears to be European. Dimensions; pen 8.25" ling, with quill 9". Excellent condition.

An attractive blue & white dinner plate by Royal Worcester (England). It is covered with Oriental motifs, which was quite popular in English china in the 1870s. It is date stamped for 1876 and measures 10 3/8" across. It is in excellent overall condition, but does show signs of use - there are cut marks on the plate, and the glaze shows darker/brownish at the edges where the glaze appears to have been more thinly applied...

A Unique English Sterling Silver Coronation or Anointment Spoon, heavily decorated and with an Animal Motif on the Handle. Hallmarked London, 1901, with a makers mark of "CS FS" and made to commemorate the Coronation of King Edward VII (Victoria's son). 10" long, and excellent condition.

A Dresden Porcelain Putti Grouping with Doves a Dovecote and Slingshot. Dimensions; 8" wide x 8" high x 5" deep. from the late 19th century and in excellent condition.

Unique Footed Silver (800) "Repousse" German Silver Sauce Boat. Elegant Scenes on Both Sides. One End Shaped into a Curved Handle as Part of the Body; Circa 1870-1890. Weight 4.7 Troy ounces; Dimensions 5" wide x 3.5" high. Excellent condition. Note that the details are crisper than in the photos.

A Small or Miniature Staffordshire Sheep Mounted on a Rectangular Base. Dimensions; 3" in length x 3.5" high. In excellent condition. Mid-late 19th century.

Elegant sterling silver large berry spoon in Whiting's wonderful 1896 "Dresden" pattern. The handle is completely covered on both sides with a complex floral pattern against a lightly stippled background. The bowl has scalloped edges and an elegant repousse pattern. The original gilding on the bowl has faded to a faint lemony hue. The back is marked with Whiting's hallmark and "Pat. Apr. 28th 1896", indicating that this is an older piece.

This is a Victorian sterling silver ladle made by The Whiting Co., circa 1900, the shaped oval bowl scalloped with a flared rim in a stylized petal pattern, rope twist handle flattened at the top for easy gripping, monogram on back DG, marker's mark, Sterling, 9 and 5, 7 1/4 " L, Excellent condition.

This is a collectible antique sterling silver luggage tag made by the Webster Company at the turn of the century consisting of a detailed valise shape, no monogram, maker's mark is worn by appears to be Webster mark on the front, stamped 925 in back, measures 1 7/8"L x 1 5/8 W including handle, Excellent condition.
