Pair of Edwardian Georgian sterling silver candlesticks, 1927. Retailed by Black, Starr & Frost in New York. Each: Bellied socket with detachable bobeche; tapering shaft on raised foot. A blue and white parian pitcher with raised oak leaves and acorns and a “branch” handle and spout. The oak portions in white against a textured blue painted ground. Marked on the underside with the U.S. Pottery Company ribbon mark with “No. 16.” and the number 12. This mark used in the 1850’s. 8 5/8 inches tall and 6 ¾ inches across handle and spout.

Condition: no chips or repairs, but a crack in the base of the handle.
