A fine and rare pair of lobed vases glazed in the elusive Robins Egg or manganese base glaze, Qianlong mark but late 19th or early 20th century. A large pair at 18", the vases are a one of a kind form inspired by the Yongzheng/Qianlong manganese derived glaze sometimes referred to as 'souffle' or Lu Jun. A set of middle Ming dynasty bowls in very good condition.
The left bowl has 4 very small rimchips, but is further excellent in colour and glaze. Also a perfect sound when tapped.
The right bowl is excellent in colour and glaze only for a hairline. When tapped you can vague hear the hairline.
