Offered is this beautiful iridescent Favrile / Aurene type glass vase, made by Quezal around 1910. The signed vase is 6 1/4 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches wide at the shoulders. Polished pontil. In good condition (couple of scratches - see last picture).

Hand painted with flowers and delicate tendrils on a matt finish by Mount Washington, this lovely mushroom shaped holder was designed to be used as a sugar shaker or flower holder (Ref: "Mount Washington Art Glass" by Betty B. Sisk, 2003). The background has a pale pink blush on the top and again at the base which fades into a slightly off white background. A versatile piece, it could also be used as a hat or hairpin holder...

Very nice vintage South Jersey glass paperweight featuring a frit design of an ivy-covered blue cross against an opaque white ground. The foreground has a wave-like frit design. The opaque ground is most unusual in a South Jersey weight. The crown rises quite high into a pronounced cowlick more typical of New England weights. The bottom has a pontil mark and slight basal concavity, and there is an incised line around the periphery at the top edge of the opaque ground.

This crystal and silver overlay vase was produced in the USA by Mathews Company of Newark, New Jersey, around 1907. There is a hallmark from this company and the silver content, 999/1000 is stamped on the foot. The vase is 14 inches tall and the opening has a diameter of 3 5/8 inches. The hand blown crystal is emerald green. It is decorated with elaborate silver overlay. There are large poppies on four sides, surrounded by flowing foliage in the loveliest art nouveau fashion...

You would be forgiven if you thought that this vase was made by Tiffany since its maker, Alton Manufacturing, hired away several Tiffany glass makers to start its production of competing wares in 1907, the only year the company produced glass.

This example of the Trevaise branding, analagous to favrile, has a flaring bulbous form with mauve ground and freely flowing and lingering tendrils with leaves attached, punctuated with white flowering blossoms...

Offered is this rare, large Gustav Stickley slag-glass lamp, made around 1906. The lamp is 30 inches tall. The shade is 15 1/4 inches wide (diagonal width: 22 inches) while the base is 9 inches wide. The burner is marked, 'B.H' (for Bradley and Hubbard). Overall, the lamp is in good condition for its age - there is a small heat-check in one of the slag-glass panels and a split to one of the wooden panels (see pictures)...

Offered is this early Handel reverse-painted, 'chipped-ice'-shade lamp. The shade is signed, 'HANDEL 3157' with the artist's initials, 'R. g' (painted by either of Handel artists: R. Gillern or Robert Goodwin) - see pictures. A pair of 10 inch tall Pairpoint candlesticks in colorless glass with amethyst additions. The sticks are decorated in the classic “Waterford” pattern and are identified as shape F1622 Florentine candlesticks in the 1915 - 1920 company literature as illustrated in Padgett’s “Pairpoint Glass.” There is no damage to either candlestick.

A beautiful Rosaline and ivory glass compote and creamer made by either Steuben or Stevens & Williams. The compote is 7 inches wide and 4 inches high. The creamer is 5 inches wide (to handle-tip) and 2 1/2 inches high. Both are in fine condition without chips, cracks or repairs. Broad polished pontil on creamer.

This is a beautiful Steuben jade glass decorated with acid cut-back floral motif. The heavy vase is approximately 9 1/2 inches tall, 6 inches wide and 3 inches deep. Except for a tiny spot on the top rim that was probably caused during fabrication and a couple of minor chips to the raised decor (see last two pictures), the vase is in very good condition.
