A very rare and attractive bronze skillet pan, European, likey Flemish or german, c. 1600-1650!

Very large bronze skillet or pan, dating to the late renaissance period in the fine gothic style. A round hollow handle to take a wooden pole. Legs shortened at time of use to make it suitable for a stove, instead of open fire.

The skillet was cast in the same alloy as the bronze medical mortars of the period, a sort of high tim content bronze or bell metal...

A lovely early North-European bronze tripod Pan, dating to the 17th.-18th. century AD.

An early type of Scandinavian bronze or bell-metal pan for open fire with three legs and a closed handle. Later crude owners initials and dating to 1806. This particular alloy and type dates to c. 1690-1720.

The pan with wonderful patina, extensive wear and numerous repairs from the time of use.

A scarce and very impressive large white bronze / bell metal Cauldron, Northern Europe, Sweden or Denmark, c. mid 18th. century.

The exceptional cauldron were part of luxery interior of a kitchen of an important mansion / manor in the 18th. century and is with initials from the family. The cauldron is tanding three seperately cast legs and two Gothic style handles are attached, concenthric decoration and initials in relief as part of the casting.

A lovely completely intact tablesize bronze presentation cannon og signal cannon, ca. late 17th.- early 18th. century AD:

A fine piece with the barrel engraved with floral scroll-works, perhaps of French manifacture. As quite unusual and remarkable, the original bronze carriage is completely intact with the same terrific old brown and green patina (perhaps once burried?).

Size: 22 cm. in total length, weighin around 1 kilogram.

A Rococo style bronze stand for either fire tools or umbrellas. May have been gilt at one time. 28 ½ inches tall and 10 inches across. French 19th century.

Condition: If gilt most of it is gone. Red showing in some of the bronze. Replaced screw holding the base and standard together. Good structural condition without repairs.

An interesting antique bronze figure, Roman style, possible after antiquity, likely 19th. century AD.

A good bronze, likely of the god Herculas (now missing the club), with fine patina and mounted by way of a brass pin. The mounting is old and the collection whence it came is old too.

We're not certain about the age of this piece so we're selling it as antique but not as ancient.
