A Very fine George III Sterling Silver Soup Ladle, by Richard Crossley and assayed in London in 1791. Old English Pattern with Feather Edges. It is 13" long, with a bowl diameter of 3.5", and weighs 6.4 Troy ounces. Clear hallmarks and no monogram or other mark. Excellent condition.

Elegant and fine work by Robert Hennell of London, hallmarks of 1791 with Georgian head, the silver with reticulated cut outs and fine line engraving, armorial figure of animal, original cobalt blue glass liner. Later ornament in form of chased and engraved scrolls, flowers, and scallop shells on stippled ground. Scrolled frame (vacant). Fully marked. Very good condition with deep patina.

18th century hand chased Georgian silver toddy ladle embossed with festoons, birds, flowers and a shield bearing the beautifully engraved initials "EC". These ladles were used to serve toddy from a serving rummer or punch bowl and ideal for warming brandy. The twisted whalebone handle affords a better grip and has a silver end cap. In excellent condition,just needs a little polishing, it measures 13 inches long; bowl measures 2.5" diameter, 1.25" deep. Circa 1770

An Irish Sterling Silver Meat or Game Skewer with a Designed Edge. From 1782 and Hallmarked in Dublin, with the makers mark of MS (possibly Michael Smith). Length; 9.635", weight; 2 ounces. Some wear marks from usage, but in excellent condition.

A Fine Georgian Silver Pint Mug from Newcastle, by John Langlands and John Robertson and Hallmarkked in 1780. An Armonial on the front depicts a hand trust through a crown, holding flowers. Dimensions; 4.75" high x 4" base diameter, weight 11 standard, 10.1 Troy ounces. Some banging on the handle (see photo 5) but overall in very fine condition.

A rare Channel Islands sterling silver trefid table spoon by silversmith Thomas David Mauger, of Jersey (active 1730-1796). Circa 1740.
