Federal Classical silver ladle. Made by Gould & Ward in Baltimore, ca 1820. Upturned fiddle terminal engraved with script monogram. Marked “Gould & Ward Baltimore” with “11-12”, which was the Baltimore alloy. Gould & Ward succeeded Gelston & Gould and was in turn succeeded by Gould, Stowell & Ward. A genealogy of Baltimore silver embodied in a useful serving piece. Very good condition with nice patina.

A lovely set of six sterling silver and plique-a-jour enamel cocktail picks by acclaimed Norwegian silversmith and enamelist Johan G. Kjaerland. Kjaerland worked in Bergen, Norway, and was particuarly well-known for his excellent plique-a-jour enamels. This is the first set of cocktail picks we've seen in plique-a-jour. Lovely pair of silver plate candlesticks with beautiful corinthian columns and raised, stepped beading on the bottom. They are marked Walker & Hall, Sheffield and numbered 288888. They measure 10 1/2" tall x 4 1/2" wide at the bottom. They are in lovely condition.

A camel on an ornate oval base nicely sculptured with fine detail. The camel is a domestic animal in places like Egypt and Saudi Arabia, but wild in many areas. This napkin ring was probably made by Rogers, Smith and Co., number 269. NOTE: THIS CAMEL HAS THE END OF ITS TAIL, often missing, STILL IN TACT.

A George III Sterling Silver Wine Funnel from the London silversmiths Rebecca Emes and Edward Barnard hallmarked for 1810. Measures about 5 1/8" and weighs about 5 ounces. Engraved with the letter "H". Both the outside funnel and the detachable pierced strainer are hallmarked. A fine example.

A lovely sterling silver powder box by Gorham. The entire body and matching lid are covered in repousse decoration of swirling acanthus leaves. The sides flare out in an elegant curve that is continued in the lid which rises to point in the middle. The bottom is hallmarked with Gorham’s old mark, the pattern number “670” and the date mark for 1890.

A very rare and elegant Victorian sterling silver pie knife in Gorham’s 1894 “Imperial Chrysanthemum” pattern. The handle is decorated with an ornate design of chrysanthemum blossoms and foliage that extends down onto the blade and shoulders of the blade. The back of the handle is decorated with a complementary design. Pie knives or pie servers are difficult to find in the better patterns...

American Edwardian Classical sterling silver tea caddy, ca 1910. Ovoid ginger-jar bowl with short neck and bellied cover. Three chased leafing-scroll frames of which 2 vacant and 1 engraved with interlaced script monogram. Shoulder has flower heads on stippled ground. Cover top has central triangle on leaves. Fully marked including stamp for Theodore B. Starr, a New York maker and retailer, and no. 249. Very good condition.
