Extremely rare sterling silver oyster ladle in the 1900 "Buttercup" pattern by Gorham. Oyster ladles are very difficult to find because they were only included with the most complete services. They were used to serve oyster stews. Today, they could also be used for soups or even for punch. The back of the handle is marked with Gorham's old hallmark and also with the patent date, indicating that this is an early example.

This is an striking and well executed Austro-Hungarian antique silver and niello box, manufactured in Prague in 1820s.It is rectangular in shape and lid is engraved with scene of a farmer pushing a wheelbarrow down a town lane within foliate and leaf tip borders. Circa 1890 German Silver smaller bowl. All hand-pierced and repousse. The bowl measures 5.5" in diameter and 3" tall. It is stamped on the bottom "Brahmfeld & Gutrue" and "800" and a crown mark. The overall weight is 258.3 grams.

Fabulous figural silverplated shellfish server. Of the highest quality, this piece is formed as two mussel shells flanking an oyster shell, with a double strap handle reminiscent of seaweed. The bottom is marked with a "N & W" hallmark, along with the pattern number "424" and the registry number "333221" indicating a date of 1899.
