Edwardian Rococo sterling silver mirror. Made by William Comyns in London in 1907. Heart-shaped beveled glass in shaped surround with pointed top and bracket supports. Embossed leafing scrolls and flowers in pell-mell, dynamic arrangement. At top scrolled cartouche engraved with the very turn-of-the-century name “Gertie”. Velvet mount with hinged easel support. A wonderful period piece with lots of charm. Fully marked. Very good condition. Velvet wear.

A Van Kempen Dutch sterling silver pierced serving spoon. This fine hand made and engraved Dutch sterling silver 6-1/8" pierced bowl nut or sugar sifter spoon is dated 1889. Made by Van Kempen & Sons (1858-1920) of Voorschoten Holland (The Netherlands), this serving spoon weighs 22.0 grams, and it is in excellent condition with no monograms, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Very rare sterling silver individual berry spoon in Whiting's 1891 "Louis XV" pattern. This is a rare form and the unusual broad shape of the bowl matches that shape of the large berry serving spoons. The bowl is lightly gilt. The back is stamped with Whiting's hallmark, the patent date (indicating an older piece) and the retailer's mark "Jacquemin & Co."

Origin: America, circa 1890s. Condition: excellent, sharp detail, no monogram. Size: 5" long.
