A superb Rococo-style first standard (950/1000 pure silver) tastevin by the master silversmith Marc Parrod. This large example retains the round shape of a traditional tastevin but replaces the usual bowl decoration with ornate bunches of grapes tied with ribbon bows and a remarkable handle treatment illustrating a young couple stomping grapes while holding hands. Parrod created excellent classic Burgundian tastevins, but his fantasy pieces stand apart from all the other Dijon masters...

Lovely sterling silver bonbon spoon, the bowl with matte gilding, bright cut engraving, piercing and a scalloped edge. The back is marked "925 Sterling 1000/Pat. Apl'd For". Unknown American maker.

A figural corkscrew in the form of an equestrian boot by the R Blackinton Co. of N Attleboro, MA. The boot is nicely detailed to appear like textured leather. The corkscrew/opener is silverplated steel for strength. The boot is fully hallmarked on the bottom.

Graceful sterling pitcher probably crafted in Mexico. The piece is 8 1/2" high and 9" handle to lip and weighs approximately 2 1/2 lbs.

This example retains the classic round shape with a convex bottom, but the usual "godrons" and "cupules" gare replaced by repoussé grape clusters alternating with raised "perles". Each grape cluster is accented with stylized vines. Parrod was particularly noted for this unique variation...

This is a fine American sterling silver napkin ring with three rows of engine turned banding and a center cartouche, made at the turn-of-the-century, monogrammed HLW, unmarked; Wt. 9.8 grams. Condition is excellent having four raised points on one rim; May need cleaning. Measurement: 1 1/2 in. diam. x 1 in. high.

An Art Deco Sterling Silver Fruit Bowl on a Pedestal Base Supported by Stylized Grapes and Leaves. By Woodside Sterling, NY 1910-1920; the highly designed base is done in the George Jensen style. Dimensions 8.5" diameter x 6.5" high, weight 17.3 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

This is an elegant set of 6 Art Nouveau sterling silver strawberry forks, American, ca. 1910, maker unidentified, marked "B" and sterling; beautifully decorated with a single hand chased poppy and fabulous Art Nouveau trailing leaf and stem motif on both front and back; perfect for serving h'ors d'oeuvres, too; condition: excellent; measurement: 4 _ inches.

Large sterling silver berry spoon in Blackinton's 1900 "Nautilus" pattern. The handle is elegantly decorated with scrolls and shells, and nicely complements the lobed bowl. The reverse is marked with Blackinton's hallmark.

Lovely sterling silver cream or sauce ladle in Towle's 1900 "Dubarry" pattern. The handle, decorated with a simple spray of roses at the tip, nicely complements the triangular gilt bowl. The reverse is marked with Towle's old mark and "925/1000".

Along with a Silver Plate Tray, by E. G. Webster & Sons; 16" x 5.5" , c. 1920's; 40 ounces. All in very good condition. the tea set has been re-silvered at an earlier date.

A Pair of George III Style Drum Mustard Pots with Matching Spoons. With Reed Borders, a Hinged Flat Cover with a Scroll Handle and a Shell Thumbpiece. Marked SG for Sebastian Henry Garrard, of R & S Garrard & Co. (Crown Jewelers, 1843-2007). Marks for London, 1919 on each pot and spoon. Dimensions; 2.25" high x 2.5" in diameter. With a clear glass liner, not original. Excellent condition.

A Thomas Hawkes Diamond Cut Crystal Cocktail Pitcher, with a Silver Rim by Stone Stirling Silver Co. (1896-1903). Hawkes was the Co-founder, in 1903, of Steuben Glass Works. Circa 1900. Dimensions; 8.5". Some minor dimples on the silver, but in excellent condition overall.

A Sterling Silver Water Pitcher by William B. Durgin Co., Concord, NH and Retailed by Tilden-Thurber of Providence RI. Weight 27.5 oz, 4.5 pints, 8" high x 9" wide. Excellent condition. From the early 1900's.

Sterling silver sauce ladle in Watson's 1911 "John Adams" pattern. The complete simplicity of the pattern is reminiscent of Colonial American silver, and it would look good mixed with any other pattern. Sauce ladles are a bit smaller than gravy ladles.
