Gorham Sterling Silver Sauce or Gravy Ladle in the "Old Baronial" Pattern. Circa 1898 and 6" in length. The monogram is ES.

The Simpson Hall Miller repousse "roses" sugar and creamer have the number 170 on the base of each.

The open sugar has a mouth opening of 3 1/4", the creamer 2 1/2". The open sugar is 2 3/4" tall, the creamer2 1/8".

They are in good condition.

An American Federal Period Coin Silver Creamer or Milk Jug by John McMullin (1765-1843) of Philadelphia. Monogrammed on one side "PJG" with "BB" over it and "MB" under it and the dates 1790 and 1850. On the other side "NRG" and the date 1923. Presumably this was a family piece used over generations. Possibly given originally as a birth present. Dimensions; 6" x 6" x 4" at base; weight 8.2 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

A George III Sterling Silver Coffee Pot by John Emes, Hallmarked in London in 1805. A Chased Overall Floral Design, with Tripod Lions Paw Feet and an Acorn finial. A monogram in one cartouche (LAC?). Dimensions; 9" high, weight 23.5 standard, 21.4 Troy ounces.Excellent condition.

German 800 silver figural bird spice box, ca 1900. A raven with hunched shoulders, tucked-down wings, and spindly legs; detachable head downturned with pensive eyes and long pointed beak. A brooding desk ornament guaranteed to ensure stately solitude. Marks include Hanau maker’s stamp (Neresheimer). Very good condition.

An Impressive Teapot by Peter, Ann and William Bateman; London 1804. Signed PB AB WB for the three Bateman's. Weight 33.2 Standard/30.2 Troy ounces. Dimensions; 10.5" high x 9" handle to spout. Some minor flea bites, particularly on inside rim (see picture).

A phenomenal and extremely rare George III sterling silver footed wine bottle or decanter coaster retaining its original ruby glass liner. Bottle or decanter coasters of the period are typically formed as simple round collars over turned wooden bases, perhaps enhanced with a bit of engraving or a border...

Handsome European stone trinket box, ca 1910. Rectangular with straight sides and sharp corners. Shoulder and base chamfered. Cover hinged, inset, and chamfered. Silver-plated mouth and cover rims. Cover has cabled border and filigree scrolled tab. Stone mottled red. Very good condition.

A Set of Ten Fiddle Handle Coin silver Spoons from Baltimore, c. 1815-1825. Each 6" in length and a total weight of 9.6 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

Very large and Early Silver Beaker, North European, Baroque period, dated 1701.

Perhaps misleading to call this large Baroque Silver vessel, a beaker, it could be used as a vase. A beautiful engraved vessel with dotted decoration on the body and with a central medallion engraved with CFS:BRD and below the dating 1701. A double concenthric line to the rim which is engraved with the letters P:L:A:M:B.

Size: 12,4 cm. heigh and ca. 11 cm. wide.

Very heavy sterling silver soup ladle in Gorham's elegant 1901 "Florentine" pattern. The handle is decorated with a satyr mask surrounded by vines, dolphins, clusters of fruit, acanthus leaves and various other classical decorative elements. The design spills from the handle onto the back rim of the bowl. The back of the handle has complementary decoration. Hallmarked by Gorham and with the patent date, indicating an earlier date of manufacture.

A pair of ornate Edwardian sterling silver posie vases dated 1902-1903. These attractive 3-7/8" tall sterling silver vases are fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England (one 1902, the other 1903). These vases are plaster filled under the bases and they weigh a total of 127 grams. They have the maker's mark for Saunders & Shepherd Ltd. London...

This lovely piece has a fluted gold washed bowl with hand engraved flowers and a graceful handle engraved with a gorgeous feather motif. Pretty German 800 silver and crystal decanter, ca 1910. Curved and faceted crystal body flowing into spread base; acid-etched flowers, leaves, and scrolls. Drum-form neck in silver collar with tooled flowers and scrolls. Silver ovoid and faceted stopper with flowers and scenes of gallantry. Pierced silver border at base with scrolls and shells. Marks include maker’s stamp for Vereinigte Silberwarenfabrik in Hanau. Good condition.

A pretty Victorian sterling silver berry or preserves spoon in Towle’s 1887 “Clover” pattern. Both the handle and bowl are decorated with bright-cut engraving of clover flowers and foliage. The bowl has a scalloped upper border, repoussed lobes, and matte gilding. The back is marked with Towle’s hallmark and the patent date.

Origin: America, ca. 1890. Condition: excellent, sharp detail, original gilding, no monogram, no dings. Size: 7-1/8” long. Weight: 48.5 grams.

This is a rare Victorian sterling diner’s napkin hook with a patent date of 1879. A real conversation starter! Diner’s napkin hooks have been in existence since the 17th century, but were all the rage during the Victorian era. To keep from spilling food on their finery, gentlemen simply attached their napkin to the clip on one end and then put the small hook over the top of their collars. Condition: excellent. Measurement: 2 _ in. long.
