This lovely set consists of six 5-1/8" pastry forks, the 5-3/4" two-tine pastry server and the fitted velvet and silk lined fitted box. The box is wrapped with a mottled brown leather-style cover and it has a pushbutton release. The utensils are stamped J.E&S S EP (for Joseph Elliot & Sons (Sheffield, England c1878-c1972) and this set would make a great gift...

A Reed & Barton sterling silver pillbox or dresser jar 1900-1910. This 1-5/8" across lidded jar is stamped STERLING M150 8 with the Reed and Barton silver mark and it weighs 16.8 grams. It has an ornate REB monogram, and the top extrudes slightly, possibly from being made to set in a travel case. The interior is lightly gilded. It is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

This large 14-1/4" skewer measures 1-1/8" across the beaded-edge loop; it has a Gothic B monogram and the pseudo hallmarks for an English silver plate company. This item is in excellent original condition with no scrapes, dents, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a slight bend on the tip of the blade...

Outstanding Victorian silverplate napkin ring decorated in the Aesthetic or Japonesque taste. The surface is encrusted with decoration representing flying cranes, crysanthemums, fans, and bamboo. The plain surface of the fan was intended for a monogram, but the napkin ring was never engraved.

Sterling silver cream or sauce ladle in the elegant 1910 "Newport Shell" (aka "Puritan") pattern by the Frank Smith Silver Co. The pattern relies on a beautifully executed shell and beading for its design impact. The reverse is marked with Smith's older hallmark and the retailer's name "D. Low & Co." (Salem, MA). The Frank Smith Silver Co. was chosen by the State Department to provide sterling silver flatware for every U.S. Embassy.

This antique beauty was made by Meriden and it has all of the hallmarks of quality and Victorian style and mechanical complexity. It has a pedestal base, a handle with floral decoration, high relief borders and a roll top with a pressed floral design. The rolling lid rests on two pins secured with a chained pinion and there are mounts on each side for a pair of butter knives...

A Monarch silver plate handled fruit or bread basket from the 1890s. This great wedding or table decor item has three feet, a fancy swing-up handle and a fancy rim as well as central engraving. It measures 9-3/8" across and it stands 9-1/2" tall to the top of the handle. It was made and marked by the Monarch Silver Co. (a division of the Standard Silver Co. of Toronto, established in 1893)...

Gorgeous sterling silver pickle fork in a lovely Art Nouveau pattern featuring wild roses trailing assymetrically down the handle. The design continues onto the back of the fork, as well.
