German 800 silver cow creamer, ca 1910. Stocky body, flexed ears, flicked-back tail handle, and hinged and stippled back flap with engraved wreath and applied fly finial. A gentle face with red-glass eyes and gaping-mouth spout. A capacious dispenser on four firmly planted hoofs. German marks and American importer’s mark for Buchholz & Zelt in New York. Unusual pretty little coin silver basket embossed on front and sides with flowers and is finished off with a gold rope tie. The top is ruffled or fluted with a rolled edge. Inside has a gold wash and is hallmarked "900 A K".

Wonderful figural sterling silver child's spoon especially for Easter. The handle is decorated with two chicks recently hatched from their eggs above the word "Easter" and an Easter lily. Interestingly, the teardrop shape of the bowl is that used in Victorian times for egg spoons. The back is marked by Durgin and also by D. Low of Salem, MA (maker of the famous Salem Witch spoon). Circa 1890. 4.5" long. Excellent condition, including intact gilding on the interiors of the cracked eggs.

A lovely transitional etched Art Nouveau~Art Deco case with Czechoslovakian export marks along with FB 900 for silver content. The back has an engine turned design. The inside is smudged, the gilt is worn with stains that do not come out and there is a small raised pinpoint puncture that it is not evident from the outside.There are no bands to hold the cigarettes.
