German 800 silver stirrup cup, ca 1910. Plain upward tapering bowl with molded rim; cast mount in form of bull head with thick, matted fur and pointy flexed ears under sharp, oversized alpha horns. A very decorative and large antique Hall Lantern, with a lotus in the base since it was meant to hang high, and a crown at the top, Northern European, 18th. century.

A lantern as elaborate and large as this would have adorned a high ceiling hall in a big mansion or estate. The lantern was made of brass and bell-metal and has a hinge at the front so it could be opened for change of candles.

The fine bucket hammered in repousee with some wonderful high relief depictions of leafs and cluster of grapes in the baroque manor.
