Lovely Victorian sterling silver bonbon spoon featuring a matte-gilt bowl with a scalloped edge. The asymetrical rococo design of the handle was popular in the 1890s. The back is marked "925 Sterling 1000". Before 1916, many American silversmiths did not mark their names on flatware. Unknown maker.

Attractive antique sterling engraved Match Safe Case, marked W&H CO. STERLING 1, comprising a rectangular shape with engraved leaf and branch design on the front, Victorian monogram SHR, decorative engraving on back, hinged top. Nice patina of old silver. Shows some wear with pin dots and small indents. May need cleaning. Measures 2 1/4" tall x 1 1/8" wide.

An elegant classic-style French silver tastevin of traditional form. The bowl is decorated with raised "perles", concave "cupules" and elongated "godrons" for assessing the depth of color in both red and white wines. The curved sides help concentrate the aroma, so only a very small amount of wine has to be poured to judge quality. The looped handle allows the tastevin to be worn suspended from a chain. Tastevins with round thumbpieces are generally from the Paris region...

Marked SG for Sebastian Henry Garrard, of R & S Garrard & Co. (Crown Jewelers, 1843-2007). Marks for London, 1919 on each pot and spoon. Dimensions; 2.25" high x 2.5" in diameter. With a clear glass liner, not original. Excellent condition.

Along with a Silver Plate Tray, by E. G. Webster & Sons; 16" x 5.5" , c. 1920's; 40 ounces. All in very good condition. the tea set has been re-silvered at an earlier date.

An incredible monumental Japanese solid cast bronze Peace Bell custom iron stand with clapper. Inscription with dated, location and donor of bell. Bell is in excellent original condition with no repairs or damage...

Metal alloy and silver box with a finely detailed "aguafuerte" style etching of an outdoor gathering located on the top of the box. There are two inscriptions located above and below the etching. The top inscription reads "D'APRES LANCRET" while the bottom inscription reads "LE COLIN-MAILLARD". Circa 1900.

A superb Rococo-style first standard (950/1000 pure silver) tastevin by the master silversmith Marc Parrod. This large example retains the round shape of a traditional tastevin but replaces the usual bowl decoration with ornate bunches of grapes tied with ribbon bows and a remarkable handle treatment illustrating a young couple stomping grapes while holding hands. Parrod created excellent classic Burgundian tastevins, but his fantasy pieces stand apart from all the other Dijon masters...

A wonderful Art Nouveau sterling silver cracker scoop in Blackinton’s 1904 “Daisy” pattern. The handle, decorated with flowers and foliage, nicely accents the ruffled edge of the bowl. Cracker scoops were originally used to serve small crackers similar to today’s oyster crackers. Now, the piece could be used to serve a variety of foods. Blackinton made a small line of very good sterling silver flatware in the Art Nouveau style. All U.S...
