The cannon very beautiful and possible once burried. With splendid old chesnut or mahogany patina with a dusting of green to the back. Fully functionable cannon made with a bore hole of 16-17 mm.

Incredible pair of Austrian silver figural candlesticks, decorated with a semi nude couple in antiquate Greek style attire each holding a candle holder over the head, right bellow their feet, four medallion exhibiting Greek men and women in relief. A Large Sterling Silver with Antler Handles Presentation Loving Cup made by Shreve & Co. San Francisco, California. Engraved on three sides as shown, presented to Charles Barrett, dated Wednesday. November 14, 1900 and San Francisco. Measures about 6 1/2" tall, 8 1/2" at widest and weighs over one and a half pounds. Rare, early and fine.

A wonderful set of six Victorian silverplate napkin rings. The outsides are decorated with two cherubs grasping baroque reserves framed with swirls of acanthus leaves, pendant bellflowers and other ornate decorative devices. The insides are brightly gilt. It is very unusual to find a complete matching set of Victorian napkin rings.

Exceedingly rare custom-made sterling silver golf trophy by Shreve & Company, California's premier 19th century silversmiths. German Baroque Classical silver wine beaker, 17th century. Urn bowl with three splayed ball supports. Clusters of fruits and vegetables and pendant ribbon bows. At top engraved presentation on occasion of child born in 1699. Gilt-washed interior. Marks include Nurnberg city stamp and maker’s stamp “I H / M”. Good condition with minor dents.

Superb sterling silver tongs in the "Kings" pattern. These are of the finest workmanship, exhibiting crisp detail on a very heavy blank. Fully hallmarked for London, 1842, with the Victoria head duty mark. The maker's mark is "WE" in conjoined circles.

A wonderful sterling silver trout set in Towle's 1884 "Arlington" pattern. The handles are decorated in the repousse style with a profusion of roses and foliage. The decoration lends itself to being mixed with many of the repousse patterns from the Baltimore area.
