Continental Silver Tobacco Box, 18th century-style, crafted most likely end of 19th century, bearing unidentified marks, oval, the hinged cover with repousse scene of a shepherd and shepherdess beneath a tree, the base with bands of beading and laurel, lg. 4 3/8 in., approx. 4.8 troy oz. Condition Report; Likely a married piece, the cover of a lower purity silver than the base. Hinge applied crudely.

An American Federal Period Coin Silver Creamer or Milk Jug by John McMullin (1765-1843) of Philadelphia. Monogrammed on one side "PJG" with "BB" over it and "MB" under it and the dates 1790 and 1850. On the other side "NRG" and the date 1923. Presumably this was a family piece used over generations. Possibly given originally as a birth present. Dimensions; 6" x 6" x 4" at base; weight 8.2 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

A simple 7" pre-Victorian English pewter sauce ladle by John Yates, Birmingham. Yates (1788-1881) produced spoons and ladles from c1808 to c1840, and this example has his early IO HN YHA TES stamp. It is in the fiddle pattern and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, monograms, losses, damage or repairs other than a small bubbled area of corrosion on the handle...

A Substantial Three Piece Coin Silver Tea Set retailed by Ball, Tompkins & Black (Successors to Marquand & Co.) with the makers mark "JB". JB is presumably James Bogert, who made many pieces for Ball, Tompkins and Black, as well as its predecessor Marquand. The Tea Set dates from 1839-1851, the date of the partnership. The name "I. Moss"? is engraved on each piece, but rubbed. The teapot is 11" high, the covered sugar, 9" and the creamer 8". Total weight is 78.1 standard, 71.4 Troy ounces...

A Silver Pitcher, Probably Used for Milk or Cream, by Eoff and Shepherd and Retailed by Ball, Black and Co., New York. It ios marked 950, higher than the sterling 925 standard, and used briefly during the transition from coin to sterling. An Elegant Script Monogram is on the Front Cartouche. Dimensions; 9" high x 4" wide; weight; 10.1 Troy ounces. Circa 1855-1860. Excellent condition.

Featuring shell knees, hoof feet, scalloped border and acanthus decorated flying scroll handles. Dimensions; 6" x 3.25" x 3.75" high; total weight 10.5 Troy ounces. Very fine condition.

French gilt-bronze triptych picture frame. Beaded and guilloché borders. Central panel has scalloped top. Curvilinear side wings. Floral silk ground. Seven windows total: 2 circular windows (diameter 3 1/2 in.), 2 circular windows (diameter 2 1/2 in.), 2 oval windows (H 3 x W 2 1/2 in), and 1 oval window (H 5 x 4 in.). "Tiffany Studios" Gilded Bronze Paper Clip, Art Deco period 1920, 2" x 2 1/4" wide, 1" high, marked "Tiffany Studios, New York, 358, 1805", no damages except some gilding is worn on the corners.

A classic George III sterling silver wine coaster, the bombe sides with egg and dart decoration and the rim with gadrooning. The decoration is finely crafted. The turned wood base is centered with a silver escutcheon bearing an unidentified coat of arms (dancetty with three swords points down) impaling that of Ashby (ermine chevron and three leopard’s heads) tied with a ribbon. The coaster is clearly stamped with hallmarks for London and the second George III duty mark (1786-1821)...

Lovely oval lobed shape enamel and silver compact, painting of group of Putti holding hands dancing encircling a tree with landscape in the background. The painting is framed with silver engraving and carnelian blue enamel accents. Stamped 800 silver and a duck and makers seal inside with the print of a doll. Dimensions 3 1/2"L x 2 1/2"W. Condition Report: Excellent condition, this fine compact should be Austrian in origin.

A quality late 19thC 750 silver jug with baronial crests by J Wagner and Sohn ( Son ) Germany. This antique 5-1/4" tall cream pitcher has a wrythen or twisted groove style and a thumb rest as well as classic hoof shape feet. It is stamped J. WAGNER & SOHN 750 M, it weighs 195 grams, and it has two finely engraved baronial heraldic crests engraved on one side indicating that it was probably originally a wedding present...

A 19th century 5-1/2" twist shaft coin silver cruet ladle stamped H.A. HARRISON on the back of the flat handle. It has a CLAPP monogram on the handle, and it weighs 12.9 grams.
