This porcelain match holder was produced in Germany before 1920. There is no maker's mark on the bottom, only impressed numbers. We think it may have been produced by Schaffer & Vater. Heubach also produced similar types of jasperware. The match holder is pierced to be mounted on the wall. The decoration is white slip over light green ground in a Wedgwood style decoration. Painted cast iron horsehead nameplate by Hubley, intended for use on a stable door, probably at a racetrack or horse farm. Two screws are meant to hold an engraved nameplate to the horseshoe. This would make a great name plate on the front door of a home.

Classic Victorian ruby and diamond ring with a star set diamond set in a square and offset by 2 smaller diamonds and a singular ruby. The facets of the stones and gold band echo the geometry of the star setting and unusual square ring head. The ring is hallmarked so we knew exactly when it was made. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Carl Thieme Dresden around 1900. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/4 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The porcelain is fine and translucent. The saucer has a scalloped edge and the cup has a split handle. The porcelain is nicely detailed. Vibrant garlands of hand painted flowers encircle both pieces.
