This porcelain coffee can shaped cup and saucer were produced in England by Spode in 1812. The design, number 709, is referred to as one of Spode’s “Candlelight” patterns. The Spode museum in Stoke on Trent has a tea set of this pattern on display. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and is 1 1/8 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/2 inches high. English Papier Mache Wine Bottle Coaster, Ca. 1820, Regency period, 5 1/4" diameter, 1 7/8" high, with lacquer decorated of Red Oak Leaves and Black Acorns continued outside in the solid Gold background, Red leaves outlined in Black, inside shows some black lacquer crazing but not too bad, bottom still retains old Denim. The Lacquer painted surface shows some wears.

Dense overlay with rinceaux, flowers, and scrollwork. Ball stopper with grape bunches and leaves in strapwork frames. Decanter is cranberry and stopper is clear. This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen around 1800. The cup has a scene of a tourist attraction, Bastey or Bastie, southeast of Dresden. The saucer is 5 7/8 inches in diameter. The cup is 3 inches tall (without the handle) and has a diameter of 3 inches. The scene is hand painted in minute detail. There are people standing at the edge of a cliff, over looking the Elbe River with the sandstone rock formations in the background...

All silver stamped with the French Minerva mark as well as an axe in a diamond and the initial AH-presumably maker. Late 19th century. In original blue silk lined presentation box. An Impressively Grand English Victorian Brass Inkstand or Standish with Double Inkwells. It is 21.25" wide x 9" deep x 7" high and weighs 3 pounds 8 ounces. It dates from the latter part of the 19th century and is in excellent condition, except for a repair one of the legs (only visible from the bottom, see picture).

A handsome Chinese export porcelain shallow bowl decorated in blue and orange enamels with gilt highlights. This pattern, distinguished by gilt stars against a dark blue background, was made for the American market was not very common. The blue border is pierced by reserves, some of which are decorated with gilt floral sprigs that echo the floral decoration in the bowl’s center. The wide border is flanked with orange and gilt lines and the rim is finished with a Greek key border...

We love this pale pink coral carving of a classical maiden with the depiction of a maenad (maenads were female followers of the God Bacchus, Roman mythological god of wine) carved in 14K along the ring's shoulder and on the coral head of the ring. The gold shoulder carvings add to the allure. Coral has the hardness of agate but can be carved to a level of fine detail and precision...
