An elegant sterling silver pierced olive spoon with an ornately pierced gilt bowl and and the handle decorated with wild roses enclosed in a curving border. The back is marked “Sterling Pat. 1903”.

A figural corkscrew in the form of an equestrian boot by the R Blackinton Co. of N Attleboro, MA. The boot is nicely detailed to appear like textured leather. The corkscrew/opener is silverplated steel for strength. The boot is fully hallmarked on the bottom.

A fine and very uncommon opalescent stem double series opaque twist (DSOT) Georgian wine glass. The round funnel bowl is engraved with leaves and a budding rose on one side, and a shrub on the other. The stem has a pair of 11 ply spiral bands outside of a central corkscrew. Conical foot with rough, snapped pontil.

There are no condition issues or flaws in this glass...

A most wonderful twisted raw wool doll with fur hair, bead eyes, defined stitched fingers, little leather shoes, lace dress with all the underpinnings, a necklace, and she is holding a purse. She has the dearest little face with a pinched nose and a tiny stitched mouth. She is a gauze bonnet that is starting to shred. She is 5" long and is circa 1870 and very special.

This black doorstop bottle doll has a great embroidered face. The stitches are big and bold and raised. She has on a cream colored dress and a pinafore over the dress. The kerchief around her neck might have been added but the one on her head is original. She is 15" tall and is on what feels to be a double necked bottle. I don't see these bottles often but they do work really well for doorstop doll. She is circa 1890-1900

I have always really liked the black bottle doll doorstops. They are something I keep more than I sell. I am offering of few of mine for sale so here is the first one. She is 13" tall, has button eyes, tear drop shaped nose with two little dots for nostril, and oval mouth that is open a little and maybe the red is for her tongue. To me she looks like she is singing her heart out while she looks to the heavens. She has embroidered ears that are priceless...

An elegant first standard (950/1000 pure silver) French silver tastevin in typical 18th century Burgundian style. Rather than with the typical "perles" and fluted "godrons", the bowl of this tastevin is decorated with repousse grape leaves and berries in the 18th century style. This treatment is sometimes seen in tastevins made by Parrod, but the particular decoration is different than any other we've seen...

A very nice child size red, white and blue checked bonnet. It has the cardboard stays that are removable so the bonnet can be washed. I like this feature because you can hang the bonnet on a peg rack so much easier without the stays. It is in good condition it just one spot at the very top of the brim...see picture. It is 13" top to bottom and 9" front to back.

An early tin flat back tin cookie cutter in the shape of a woman. It is small, just 3 1/4" and has a very early look to it. It is circa 1870-80.

An especially attractive flint glass mold pressed goblet in the block and star pattern with ruby flashed top. Overall condition is very good although you can see some mild loss to the ruby stain. The glass probably dates to circa 1910. It was most likely made by Tarentum Glass.

An exceptionally attractive transferware bowl in the Milanese Pavilion pattern having fruit and floral images around the rim while two elegantly attired ladies converse on the pavilion. The back stamp bears the J H & Co mark of Joshua Heath & Co and dates to c. 1840 While the bowl is visually magnificent, it has a 2 3/4" hairline crack for which we have drastically reduced the price and for which we would consider reasonable offers. A very nice pair of antique hand knit blue and white cotton socks with a initials at the top. I think the initials are WWF. The stockings are knit with three different weight cotton yarn the heaviest is the wonderful true blue that is the foot and ankle where all the wear is and the area where you want the most cushioning. The lighter blue is medium weight and the white is the lightest where you don't want it to bind. The have been used but not abused...

A black cloth doll with lots of assets. This doll has a very nice embroidered face, the clothes are fabulous, (including pantaloons, petticoat, skirt blouse,apron, lace shawl), her hair is deerskin hide, her socks are hand made with a different color yarn on the sole to make it look like a shoes and she is 20" tall. She is firmly stuffed with cotton. She sits but resists a little so she would sit on an upholstered chair but would tend to slip on a wooden surface...

Early all hand sewn with tiny stitches black doll. The embroidered face is outstanding with the raised eyes, the pupils on a bed of white layered thread and her mouth is also done that same technique. For hair she has cotton floss thread sewn to her head and it is most effective. She has attached arms and legs so she sits easily. Her body is stuffed firmly with cotton. A fine matched pair of ceramic recumbent lions of molded construction having maize yellow ware enamel. The careful observer will note that the lions are not a mirror match, but they complement each other and were most likely produced this way. A large and exceptional example of fine American tinsel or foil painting featuring a pair of pheasants on branches, surrounded by a wreath of flowers. The scene has the rare "snowflake" type of background. Although tinsel painting was at its height in America from 1850 to 1890 the snowflake technique appears to have been done primarily in the 1870's period.
