This porcelain plate was produced in France by William Guerin Limoges in 1900. It has a diameter of 10 3/4 inches. The foot ring on the back of the plate is trimmed with gold. This is often an indication that the particular item was exclusive in its production. A very rare set of (probably) English 9-7/8" plates in a variant of the original Blue Willow pattern. We haven't been able to accurately identify this pattern with its distinctive border butterflies in our books, however they are definitely Georgian. A wonderful Victorian ironstone footed fruit compote decorated in an underglaze blue floral pattern. Distinctly Asian in flavor, the pattern depicts prunus blossoms and peonies surrounded by rocky outcroppings, foliage and hovering butterflies. The edges are finished in a diaper border. Vue d'une Ancienne Abbaye Staffordshire historical plate by Enoch Wood. Circa 1825. This pearlware plate is decorated in a dark blue transfer and is from the "French series." It has a grape vine border and bears on the back the pottery's factory impressed mark WOOD as well as the pattern name in an underglaze blue stamp. Size: 9" diameter. Condition: Very good with a couple of very small pin sized flecks to the glaze and some fine crazing.

This set of 6 cut crystal cordial glasses were produced in Bohemia by Moser in the late 19th century. The glasses measure 3 3/4 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 2 3/4 inches. The glasses are hand cut and have panels of amber glass in panels around the outside. Vermicelli gilding covers the rest of the surface of the glasses. The scalloped foot of each glass is cut with a star. Condition: There is wear to the gilded surfaces from use.

Lovely ribbed opaque glass biscuit jar with large applied glass flower on front. The frame needs resilvering, but the rest of the jar is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. It measures 8" tall to the top of the handle x 5 1/4" diameter on the bottom.

A large and impressive baroque pewter Chalice with lid, made in Germany dated 1724 / ANNO 1733!

With a large inscription in fine writing and here dated ANNO 1733 by the owner, but on the stamps inside the lid, the maker has dated it 1724. Maker is 'Morten Muhlhiesen Smidt' - the original note with a detailed description of the maker etc. in German comes with the sale.

The inscription is a gift inscription perhaps Guild related, to an Andreas Nitchke from Johann Michel Beck...
