Included here is a monumental pair of porcelain urns measuring 44" tall and 18.5" wide (111.8 cm and 47 cm), featuring painted scenes depicting muses on a cobalt blue ground, with the monogram of King Louis Philippe (1773-1850) on the reverse. They are believed to date from the late nineteenth century or possibly the period of Napoleon III (third quarter of the nineteenth century). This extraordinary palace size urn in the Sevres style, circa 1890-1900, measures 66 by 22 by 16 in (167 by 56 by 41 cm). It features a beautiful painting of a cloud-born muse surrounded by cherubs, and is signed by the artist, Maxant. It also has large gilt bronze mounts including cherubs nestled in foliate designs at the shoulders, pomegranate finial, and pedestal. Condition is very good. Glazed finish shows craquelure and there are no known restorations or visible damages.

Pair of 3-light sterling silver Chrysanthemum candelabra. Made by Tiffany & Co. in 1882. Each: baluster shaft on dome foot with 4 scroll supports. Three arms, each terminating in single light, wrapped around central bud. Chrysanthemums and flower heads applied to rims and shaft. Bobeches detachable. Can be converted to candlestick.
