American Gilded on Wood frame large oval shape mirror with reticulated Rose and Ribbon decoration on the top, 45" high, 53" wide, 9"high-Rose and Bow top frame, 3" wide frame on the sides and bottom, purchased in New York city in 1915. Gilded finish is high quality, highlighted on raised area and burnished to make brilliant gold, and the details of carving of roses and ribbons are also fine quality and gilding on top. The condition is good, no major damages, shows some wear but not noticeable.

This is an unusually tall mirror made by the end of the 19th century, directly inspired of the elegantly simple Louis Philippe style originally during the first part of the 19th Century, consisting of a plain frame with large moldings surrounding the original mirror. Note the paint is not original and estimated to be a decade old, several dark spots can be seen at the base of the mirror due to the age. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 67"high/ 40"wide

This is an elegantly simple Mirror from the second part of the 19th century, directly inspired of the Louis XVI style approximately a century earlier, consisting of a rectangular frame accented with twisted ribbon pattern and surrounding the original beveled mirror, all highlighted by the exquisite pierced carved bow tie crest.
