An adorably simple Louis XV Rococo Mirror made from walnut from walnut at the beginning of the 20th century. This graceful piece consists of a nicely scrolled serpentine shaped frame surrounding the original beveled mirror, all highlighted by a lovely pierced carved cartouche. Minor scratches and dents can be seen here as well as a few tiny dark spots on the mirror due to the age. Circa date 1900. Dimensions 33"high/ 21"wide.

American Gilded on Wood frame large oval shape mirror with reticulated Rose and Ribbon decoration on the top, 45" high, 53" wide, 9"high-Rose and Bow top frame, 3" wide frame on the sides and bottom, purchased in New York city in 1915. Gilded finish is high quality, highlighted on raised area and burnished to make brilliant gold, and the details of carving of roses and ribbons are also fine quality and gilding on top. The condition is good, no major damages, shows some wear but not noticeable.
