This is a very pretty, second half of the 19th century Mirror made from pine, originally coming from Florence in Tuscany, boasting a beautiful hand carved embellishment from the cartouche depicting flower filled urn flanked by foliage to the frame below accented with acanthus leaves and rosettes surrounding the original mirror. Note minor scratches and dents can be seen on the frame due to the age as well as dark spots on the mirror. Circa date 1880. Dimensions 28"high/ 14"wide.

A fancy ornate brass oval frame having trefoil cartouches with leaves and edged with beading encircle the mirror held up by easel stand whose stretcher is detached from the frame. However the stand is still most functional. The frame is a very elegant reminder of a lost craft. Please note that we have painted out the glass mirror - not to hide anything other than the photographer.

Sophisticated elegance oozes from every pore of this gilt brass mirror framed with rococo and neoclassical motifs. The highlight is the extraordinary and highly detailed visage in high relief at the top center of the mirror. The glass is beveled with an arched top. A ring is attached at the top rear for wall mounting.
Condition is superb with the exception of a minor amount of silver loss on the left edge. We have photo edited the glass portion of the image to remove distracting reflections...
A quirky 19th. century French Mirror made from mounted pieces of tree root. The overall height is 51 ins. and the width is 32 ins.
The round bronze mirror decorated with golden filigree on the edge in scrolling shell form, inset with semi-precious gems in six-petal flowers, the reverse depicts SHOU character in the center of flowers and leaves, the handle made from crystal with some additional filigree decorations.
