A very fine and large hobnail cut crystal glass casket mounted in brass and with brass ball feet. It is in perfect condition and was made in the late 19th. century. It measures 10 by 5 ins.(not including the ring handles) and it is 5 1/4 ins. high.

A wonderful wooden box, or case, in what may be pear wood. The piece is covered on all sides (excluding the base), with cut steel studs. There is a mother of pear escutcheon with an inlaid piece on top for initials. Handle is metal, there is a key that works, and the interior is a pink silk. Quite an unusual piece.
Condition: Cut steel handle and the studs have some minor rust or discoloration, but on the whole does not detract from the appearance...
