Rare and beautiful 9'H x 7'W large Italian giltwood mirror with gold leafing and cherub motif. This is one of the largest and most spectacular mirrors we've seen in over 30 years of buisiness. The mirror was purchased by the Borgese family in the late 19th C. in Florence Italy. The cost at that time was $15,000 and it was an antique then. It was used in a beauty shop in Minneapolis until the 1960's where it was then bought by a serious art collector and incorporated into his collection...
