English Satinwood octagonal shape small tall table with young girl portrait with floral design in Polychrome colors, 26" high, 13" wide-point to point, with shaped x-cross stretcher join into the tapered square legs, and painted floral and red ribbon on the side, stretcher and legs, entire table is constructed with satinwood. Fine George III Octagonal Cellarette or Wine Cooler in mahogany with brass banding, having a hinged lid opening to a tin liner, slightly tapered body with brass carrying handles and the original stand with four champfered legs. English, circa 1780.

Originally used in the dining room to hold wine brought up from the cellar for the meal, the tin liner would have protected the wood from the condensation from the bottles. Now often used as an occasional or end table...

A very high quality mahogany drop leaf table with turned legs and stretchers with a shaped apron at either end. The three boards, one for the top and one for each leaf are well matched single boards. Excellent proportion and a nice small size. 27 ½ tall X 28 ¾ long X 11 ½ wide in inches. With the leaves up 31 ½ inches wide.

Condition; minor repairs including the replacement of one of the feet. There is an old breakout at one of the joints...

English 19th century burl walnut highboy in 18th C Georgian style. Elegant queen Anne carved legs on the base. Cross banded drawers and pullout lined folding shelf or press. Hand made brass pulls dove tail construction some 20th century refurbishing to drawer runners.

From our European Collection, a very fine English oak refectory table, late 18th / early 19th century, hand-tooled from solid plank timbers and iron nails, using rustic style hand-carving for design motifs, and with crossbar support on the bottom. This piece has great natural patina to the wood that gives it wonderful character in addition to the charm of its obvious Olde Worlde masculine feel. An excellent example of this style of table making...

A finely crafted rush-seated mahogany chair made by the manufactury of Thomas Glenister (Temple Works, High Wycombe) for the Coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra in Westminster Abbey on 9 August 1902. Condition: very good - very little wear and no repairs or restoration.

Circa 1910-1920 British Hunting Silk Hat with Leather Box and Original Bottle of Cleaner and its mailing box. Custom leather box, lined with burgundy velvet, measures 13' by 12" by 8" with brass fittings and original key. Locking device works and all straps and closures intact. Some superficial nicks to the leather and roughness to leather around handle. Some neatsfoot oil would cover in these nicks. The silk top hat, made for the hunts, is black with inside diameter of 7.5 and 6.5"...
