This is a very nice primitive second half of the 18th century Linen Press made from solid pine and originally coming from Aix-en-Provence in the south of France, consisting of a straight facade with a pair of triple paneled doors revealing a spacious storage compartment with a couple of shelves above the interior bottom trunk. Antique American Classical Pembroke or Breakfast Table in mahogany, the rectangular top flanked by shaped drop leaves, with opposing drawers on the front and back, and raised on a stretcher joined base with elongated downswept legs ending in brass castors. Measures 49" wide, 27.5" deep and 27" high. Condition is good. There are dents, scratches, considerable wear to the leather, all consistent with age.
