Fine pair of 19th Century French five light crystal and ormolu sconces in the Louis XIV style, having an ormolu torch form backplate surmounted by a flaming urn, a central floral decorated support with four scrolling candle arms, extensively decorated with crystal swags and pendants. Circa 1860, now drilled and wired for electricity.

They have remnants of old cloth-sheathed wiring and old five inch tall candle covers. We will be happy to rewire and add new candle covers for an additional fee. Measures: approximately 14" wide.
This set of four vintage gilded wooden sconces in the neoclassical Louis XV style feature two candle arms with wooden faux candles emanating from a central stalk in form of a stylized cornucopia holding grain with tassels at the bottom with balls on chain connecting to each arm. Included here is a set of four matching gilt bronze sconces in the French Louis XV style, circa 1890s. Measures: 23 x 12 x 6 in (58 x 30 x 15 cm). Wired in the early 20th century is the very hard to find bronze gas wall lamp with a Chinese porcelain famille rose Mandarin font. Condition: May want to rewire, paint the bronze, remove black finish, or leave as is. Measures 10" by 6" high. Porcelain font measures 1.5" by 2.75"

This is a lovely antique sconce made of hand-blown ruby red glass and etched mirrored glass. Believed to date from the mid to late 19th century. Rim of the candle holder features a pretty ruffled shape. Condition is excellent. Original silvering is intact. No visible cracks, chips or restorations. Some minor scratches to the mirror surface. Rear has its original hanging hook. Some corrosion to the mount but it's not noticeable behind the candle socket...

From our Fine Arts and Americana Collection, a fine dore bronze wall sconce, late 19th to early 20th century, fully gilded with four separate candlestick holders cast in floral motif. We are not positive whether this is French fin de siecle, or American Art Nouveau circa 1905-1915, but in any event an elegant piece...
Included here is a matching set of four antique bronze sconces, each featuring two candle arms, gadrooned wall plate and crystal pendants with etched floral decoration. Measurements are approximate. Each has been newly wired with new sockets which accept candelabra size bulbs. There are no hallmarks and the maker is unknown. Their style is distinctly English Georgian, but will compliment any neoclassical decor such as French Louis XVI or Empire, or American Federal.
