19th Century English Brass large Fire Place Fender, Ca. 1830, 51" wide, 10" high, 13 1/2" deep, reticulated leaves, raised round pin wheel, supported by Lion's Paw Feet, nicely polished and ready to put in your home. An antique Japanese Sendai Tansu in a rare 2 section design made of Keyaki (Zelkova) and Sugi (Cryptomeria) woods. All original hand forged iron hardware with Urushi lacquer finish. Rounded Mokko style handles with Chrysanthemum lock plates surrounded by an arabesque leaf pattern. Four large drawers with a hinged security door that hides two small drawers.

Huanghuali Chinese footed alter table with stunning detail and carving. Central panels are perfectly book matched. Each panel measuring 6 1/4" wide. Leg panels are carved into double water dragons with strolling Lingzhi pattern. The carving follows the motif along the apron.

A beautiful mahogany shaped knife box made of solid sides and fitted with slotted board to hold knives. The cyma and creased shaped front supports a non-working brass lock escutcheon and opening handle. The corners are molded. The cover is decorated with a star inside, and attached with brass hinges. The base of the box is also molded. Over all, the design and construction are sumptuous.
