Engraved "E.G.Wright Boston" on the upper plaque, and "Wm.S.Wheaton, New York" on the lower.Included are many pigtails and lead pipe extensions and adapters and original music clip. Also included is a wooden form that protects the bell section from serious injury. The case may or may not be original.

A RARE Whitely, 5 key Bassoon, possibly the only one on record. Mark on boot shows "(Eagle under curved line) (?) Whitley, Utica". Of the five keys, four are working and one is absent except for pin mount. Wood shows use, but no cracks. Wing has narrow diagonal sliver missing and does not effect finger holes. No bocal. Shipped in a non-fitting case.
